8 weeks post op tomorrow 🙌🏻
Dolly does us proud each day (apart from the days she chews through her harness’)
First public appearance, we had a few strange looks but dolly just barked and walked by 👌🏻
Picking our Christmas tree just wouldn’t have been the same without her 🌲
Her back legs are supported with her Hold Em Up Harness which we control with the lead. This keeps her spine straight and aids her front end to move in a natural position, also relieving the pressure on her front end.
We’re still attending physio and hydrotherapy at @hawkslandcaninehydro twice a week. And we’re seeing small improvements each week, which is fantastic!
Our daughter, Delilah, is an absolute trooper! She’s always wanting to help with dolly’s recovery ❤️🩹 weve had lots of hard discussions about dolly’s life and lifestyle (not many 6 year olds would be so understanding and brave with these discussions) #besties
