We collaborated yesterday with WTF: Norwich, UK in Norwich city centre. We worked well together with video footage of the inside of MBR shown alongside our information stand. We had more interest in the info side than people taking the challenge to watch footage but we will do this again. Lots of petition signatures, conversations and donations.
Thank you to Tim Watson and the WTF group for your help and all our loyal and trusty team, especially Joanne Boggan. This outreach wouldn’t be so easy to run without you.

Thank you to WTF: Norwich, UK who will be joining us at 10.30 on Gentleman’s Walk in Norwich for our outreach, colllaborating for The Alliance Against Cruelty in Science. We will have other anti- vivisection campaigns joining each outreach across the country, currently 52 of us!! 👊 thank you. This is for ALL animals in captivity, be they in laboratory cages or trapped on farms. We are their voices. ❤️

Lorraine was one of the first activists to protest at MBR, and did so through to the weekend before her accident last month. A great loss to the animal welfare community. RIP Lorraine ❤️

Today we said goodbye to an incredible activist, animal warrior and friend Lorraine Garrett.

This is her at last year, supporting England football obviously and having fun, but usually you could find her dressed in activist gear, trying to get in cops faces, ripping down fences at MBR, and generally getting up to as much mischief as possible to raise awareness for, or help, animals!

She only ever put animal interests first and campaigning for them or rescuing them were her life. Unfortunately, she got injured over 20 days ago caring for one of them and she couldn’t overcome her injuries and finally succumbed this morning.

Everyone who knew Lorraine knew that if you were IN you were met with love and support and kindness that knew no bounds. If you were outside, well, you were outside and you got called a c*** or if you were a cop, even worse.

She didn’t suffer fools. Wore her heart and her mouth on her sleeve. But she was incredible. WOW!

We met her through trying to shut down MBR but she did so much more and one of her most recent acts was helping to rescue 19 goats from starvation and fields where dead carcasses were still present, and they are now at and will live happy lives for ever.

Her legacy will live on, in every single person who was in her life.

We hope her two incredible sons take comfort in how much she was loved by so many people ❤️

From us Lorraine, we love you more than words can say, and will miss you forever. From the animals, thank you for everything, you are our hero 🐐🦃

PLUS we have our stall at the wonderful annual vegan fair on 19th inside The Forum in Norwich. As you may remember, I collected an album together recently of photographs you all sent of your beagles in preparation for a calendar. Well it’s underway! Preparations are being made for us to have a 2024 calendar and this is your chance to see your beagle in colour on 100 walls in the country. Keep an eye out for the next update when hopefully I will know an arrival time. They will be on sale at £13 each including p&p.
