Or do just want to continuously develop your training journey?

The course develops on from puppy basics and adds a little more to real life experiences; sitting for visitors, moving through doorways, settling on a mat and many more. Teenage Classes are brilliant for recapping the training learnt in puppies but developing these skills to a whole new level. This course also helps our clients to ‘teach an old dog, new trick’

A small class of 4 allows us to provide any 1-2-1 help needed.

Who is Willow Dog Training Academy?

WDTA is a Sister Business to my Dog Walking Company, Willow Pet Services .

WDTA is a Dog Training Academy strongly believes in Positive Reward based and Force Free Training and implants this in all parts of a clients training journey.

Our aim is to build stronger and more enjoyable relationships between Owners and their Canine companions. After all, A canine will always be a man’s best friend.

We strive to show our clients their dog’s perspectives and insight on how they view the world and the mysterious things inside it. However most importantly, educating our clients on how can we help our canine companions and set them up to always succeed.

Dog Training isn’t always the smoothest ride but being a Reactive Dog mum allows me to provide that emotional support and confidence each client needs throughout their training journey.

I am currently running Puppy and Teenage classes with Red Dog Training @ Adventure Bark. All classes are available on their website. However, I soon hope to start up 1-2-1 consultations and Training Walks.

I am a Member of the Institute Of Modern Dog Trainers.

The Institute of Modern Dog Trainers is one of the leading education provider for Dog Trainers and Behaviourists and is a Registered Learning Centre for The Open College Network. It is the only education provider that offers the accredited OCN 'Principles of Dog Training and Behaviour' Dog Training Qualification.

Due to attending the 2 Day, 4 Day course and passing my assessment with the IMDT, I have an extra qualification. 🐶The Open College Network Accredited Certification Principles of Dog Training and Behaviour, Level 3🐶

🎓Passed my assessment with a Merit of 91%🎓

The UK Dog Behaviour and Training Charter is a code of conduct, ethics and methodology.

Dog Training is an unregulated industry and as Owners, you may often struggle to find suitable accredited professional to help you. There are many that continue to use outdated and aversive methods although, there are many excellent professionals.

I am a Member of the UK Dog Behaviour and Training Charter which ensures that I adhere the most modern, scientifically-proven and positive methodology when it comes to dog training. However, it allows Dog Owners to have full confidence that the professional they choose to work with will not use any equipment or methods designed to cause pain, fear or startle response.

Being a Puppy Klass Instructor with The Dog Training College allows me to provide a modern day approach to puppy classes. It has taught me to build confident puppies whilst making the training process fun.

Apart of this course required me to complete and pass the Puppy Instructor course but also attended a 2 Day Practical Course.

This Instructor course licences me to set up and deliver classes by being apart of a Licensed Instructor Network.

Being a Canine Body Language Specialist with The Dog Training College, allows me to understand Canine Body Language and Communication.

Throughout this course I covered :
- Body Language Components
- Canine Emotion
- Canine Vocalisation
- Dog to Dog Communication
- Make Detailed Video Analysis

After completing the course and each topic quiz, I took a final written assessment of which passed with 86%.
