Blue Cross Rolleston rehoming centre Welcome to Rolleston Rehoming Centre. We will be able to assist you with volunteer enquiries, making donations, pet advice and other general enquiries.

If you are looking at rehoming a pet we can talk to you about our process, and we can explain how to apply. Our Second Hand Tack Shop is open during the following times:
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 1:30 - 3pm
Saturday and Sunday: 10:30 - 12pm and 1:30 - 3pm

Please note our Tack Shop is closed on Monday and Wednesday. We accept donations 7 days a week between 9am – 3pm. Can I rehome a pet when I dro

p in? To rehome a pet you need to look at our available pets in the rehoming section of our website and apply for a pet you are interested in rehoming. If we find a match we will contact you to make an appointment to start the process.

Meet Nigel, a handsome chap looking for his new home as a project horse. Nigel would suit a home with other geldings where he can grow and enjoy his younger years before potentially becoming a ridden horse at the age of 4.

Nigel is a friendly young gelding who is easy to handle and lovely to be around. Although Nigel has the potential to be a ridden horse in the future, he would make a great companion for any horse due to his kind temperament.

Today, our team discovered a large amount of fireworks in the admissions area. While we’re relieved no serious harm was done, this could have had further consequences for our horses’ safety and wellbeing.

We kindly remind everyone that fireworks and loud noises can cause severe distress and injury to horses.

If you are in the local area and planning to set off fireworks, we kindly ask that you let us know in advance by emailing [email protected]. This allows our team to take the necessary steps to help keep our animals calm and safe. 🎆

Rosie needs a patient, experienced home to continue her education. With time and consistency, she has great potential as a companion or future ridden pony.
