📣Announcement 📣
Unfortunately the time has come that my body has told me enough is enough. Following my cancer diagnosis last year and also my stroke in April it has finally taken its toll on me & my health. I have had a loop recorder placed into my chest to try and find out the reasons for the strokes and last week I was told I have COPD. So I want to finish on my terms and whilst I still can give my babies 100%. The next trip starting at the weekend will be my last trip.
I can’t even begin to thank everyone who has trusted me with their amazing babies over the years and the lifelong friendships I have made. Over the past 4-5 years I have made a lifetime of memories and literally had the time of my life, from seeing the northern lights, to seeing some of the incredible countries that I have been too.
My family may not see it the same way with a lifetime of therapy ahead of them following my innumerable adventures!
Firstly I would like to thank my boys Ben & Jacob- who helped me in the very early days coming to Europe with me ( although Ben was not a fan of Italian coffee!)
The last few years would have been impossible without my girls, Charlotte being on call 24/7 and keeping my feet on the ground whilst making it appear all stress free for you all, and keeping me in check. Also my best friend in the world Daisy who has come on plenty of trips with me that I couldn’t of done on my own. She is another reason to stop, having walked Charlotte down the aisle, I could not miss out on walking Daisy down the aisle. My 3- soon to be 4 grandchildren are another reason to look after myself, to be able to see them grow up, aswell as any future grandchildren that Daisy might have.
I could not of spent all this time with your babies had my wife sally not cared for mine whilst managing the kennels and keeping the home, which is no small feet.
It’s now time for me to enjoy my own babies and move forward with the bleus thanks to the amazing help from Tommy and Eva, we hope to move forward in a positive direction with them and Huey is a great start.
Once again thank you all so much for your trust & custom over the years and if you ever need advice then just ask, just don’t ask for recommendations as you all know I did it my way.
The next few posts are just a small snippet of our story as Daisy Brook Transport 🐶
Thank you all.
