😢 Every morning, they open their eyes and hope today will be different. Every night, they curl up in a lonely kennel, waiting for a tomorrow that never seems to come.

Rescued from horrific neglect, living for six months knee-deep in floodwater filled with sharp building waste. Bear is loyal, affectionate, and playful, but trauma and kennel life have made him reactive at times. He needs a strong, confident foster who can guide a large dog. With staff and volunteers, he shows his true nature: loving, gentle, and sensitive. Needs higly experienced people

✨ Xena (Malinois)
Bear’s fellow survivor. Intelligent, loyal, and affectionate once bonded. A typical Malinois with the heart of a working dog, she thrives on stimulation and purpose. In kennels, her only outlet is fixating on toys. With training and challenges, she will be an incredible partner and companion.

✨ Kobe (Mastiff cross)
Abandoned at 8 months, left at our door like rubbish. A huge pup with a huge heart. Playful, bouncy, eager to please, and desperate for company—he just wants to be with you always. He needs structure and training, but under the chaos is a loveable, loyal clown who only wants to belong.

✨ Baks (small-medium fluffy, under 3 years)
Baks escaped war-torn Ukraine and came to the UK full of hope. He is intelligent, loyal, energetic, and has learned so much already—he adores music, forest walks, and the beach. But Baks struggles with strangers, men (except his adored male caregiver), and new dogs on lead. He can be territorial at home and sometimes reacts out of fear. He needs structure, patience, and understanding to overcome his past. In return, he will give boundless love.

✨ Rufus (2-year-old medium-large boy)
A bright, loyal dog with a soft soul, scarred by a hard past. Likely raised for guarding, he struggles with anxiety and defensiveness. Affectionate and cuddly at home, he craves love and routine. Outside, he must wear a muzzle—he reacts to sudden movements, strangers, and other dogs. He cannot live with children and would thrive best in a quiet, rural home. With kindness and consistency, Imas will finally learn the world can be safe.

🐾 Archie and Arny are almost 9-month-old ginger brothers — medium/upper-medium lads with soft hearts, gentle manners, and the sweetest affection. They arrived in the UK at the end of November, and while they showed themselves as sweet and loving dogs, the boys have proved too much for the lady who is home alone with them while her husband works long hours. There is no fault with the boys — they are lovely, affectionate, kind-natured pups — but they need a home with a little more patience, support, structure, and space.

💔 Rescue Story
Found in a field in war-torn eastern Ukraine, on suburbs of Pokrovsk (currently a place of biggest battle in Ukraine) with their mother, the boys were lucky to be rescued. Their mum was small, sociable, clearly once someone’s pet, but abandoned in a place where survival was nearly impossible. Archie and Arny were evacuated to central Ukraine safer area and grew up safely in home based mini-shelter, discovering toys, cuddles, and kindness — and dreaming of families of their own. They are not traumatised by war- they were too small to remember it.

🐾 More About Archie & Arny
Since arriving in the UK, both boys have shown how deeply affectionate and loving they are. Despite their naturally slightly shy nature, they walked into their new home three days ago and immediately kissed their people with eagerness to bond.

They are not boisterous with humans (but still can stand, jump in happy excitement when meet), but with each other they still have lively, energetic puppy play, which sometimes is too much of excitement and needs gentle human redirection — exactly like human siblings who sometimes need to be stopped by parents before one of them starts crying.

The main challenge, which is a very normal phase for newly arrived rescue dogs, is a temporary regression in housetraining. In their previous foster home abroad, they were almost fully housetrained and used puppy pads only at night. The move to a new country, unfamiliar home, completely different routine and environment has understandably confused them. Three days after arrival, they are still using puppy pads and may miss them — but this always improves with time, consistency, and kindness. In 1–2 weeks, once settled, dogs from their background always bounce back to their previous housetraining level.

They are used to peaceful rural settings, and happiest in quiet outdoor spaces. They enjoy toys, long-lead walks, affection, and human company. Archie is the softer, more thoughtful boy; Arny is the slightly more confident, playful one. Both adore people and bond deeply.

🏡 Ideal Family
Archie and Arny will thrive in a quiet rural or semi-rural home where life isn’t rushed or noisy. They need a house with a secure grassy garden and a peaceful location away from busy roads, railways, and heavy noise. Their perfect home would offer them gentle guidance, patience, and a stable routine so they can regain confidence and master their housetraining again. Access to quiet fields or woodland for long-lead walks will help them relax and enjoy the world at their own pace. Ideally they will remain together, as their bond gives them security and balance; however, if adopted separately, each boy will need a friendly, playful female dog to support them. Most importantly, they need a family willing to give them time, affection, and understanding while they settle into their new life.

💔 Why He Needs a New Home

Buddy’s family are being forced to move urgently from rented accommodation and cannot secure a pet-friendly property in time. With the stress of sudden relocation, a young child struggling with jealousy around the dog, and long working hours leaving Buddy alone too often, his family have made the painful decision to surrender him so he can have the life and companionship he deserves.

🐶 BUDDY is currently at Foster but needs URGENTLY to be loved to to foster being hospitalised. Foster really enjoyed having him. That's what she said about him: " Buddy -
He’s an absolute delight. He is very well behaved, knows basic commands like sit, stay, come, leave and down. His recall is good, but not sure it would be with other dogs around. He pulls a little on a flat collar but is a bit better on a harness. Great off the lead, never goes far but again not sure if other dogs are around. He travels exceptionally well and will stay where put, if he is left in the car for short times. E.g-Going into a shop. He barks at people who he doesn’t know. But if removed from the situation, he’s getting better. We are currently working on this.
He doesn’t seem to know how to play, rips up soft toys and cannot follow objects, like balls, but loves going out and being around his human. He’s happy to be left for short periods and sleep downstairs in his crate with the door open at night. He’s not at all food oriented and leaves treats and his food, unless mixed with wet food, when his bowl is put down until he wants it. He does sit with me on the sofa when I’m there by invitation and is very well behaved. I think he’d make a lovely family dog, who loves walking with him and probably with older children though due to his snappy barking habit."

Buddy is a gentle, affectionate little soul who bonds warmly once given kindness. Indoors he is calm, well-mannered, fully house-trained, and crate-trained. He loves his routine, enjoys running in the garden, and would happily spend his days trotting after birds, sniffing the breeze, or curling up nearby his person.

He loves walks, but hasn’t been getting them regularly due to life circumstances. Because of this, he may pull and bark at other dogs —excited and unsur, but with correct introduction will enjoy. With patience and positive reinforcement, he will blossom beautifully; he simply hasn’t had the guidance or time he needed.

Buddy is anxious at first with strangers entering the home but settles quickly once he realises they’re friendly. He has lived with very long hours alone during owner’s work shifts and coped well, though he would be far happier in a home with more company and structure.

He knows sit and paw, sleeps in his crate, and enjoys a peaceful, predictable environment.

Buddy will flourish in a peaceful, predictable household where life moves gently. A calm adult home or a home with older, steady children would give him the emotional space he needs. He would benefit from someone who is home often and can offer companionship throughout the day. A quiet environment with minimal visitors and no chaotic energy will help him settle, exhale, and rediscover confidence.

⚠️ Rufus struggles with anxiety, especially outside and around sudden movements or strangers. He has shown reactivity when startled by running, loud voices, or unpredicted gestures. He does not tolerate young children and must not be placed in a home with kids. He is wary of men, though with calm, slow introductions he quickly learn to trust. Rufus reacts to dogs, cats, runners, bikes, scooters, and even strangers walking too close. He is best walked in quiet areas and would do beautifully in a rural, low-traffic environment where he isn’t constantly overwhelmed.

🐶 Rufus’ rescue story began in the most unusual and moving way: he jumped into a stranger’s open car and sat down like he’d found where he was meant to be. He was tired, thin, and clearly searching for someone to trust. That was the beginning of his journey to safety—but it’s not the end of his story. 🐶 Previous Foster Assessment – Honest, Loving, Rufus is wonderful in the home—he’s house-trained, knows where his food and drink are, doesn’t take food from the plate, and only tried the counter once! He is affectionate, craves strokes and cuddles, and gets truly joyful when you return home.

⚠️ Rufus struggles with anxiety, especially outside and around sudden movements or strangers. He has shown reactivity when startled by running, loud voices, or unpredicted gestures. He does not tolerate young children and must not be placed in a home with kids. He is wary of men, though with calm, slow introductions he quickly learn to trust. Rufus reacts to dogs, cats, runners, bikes, scooters, and even strangers walking too close. He is best walked in quiet areas and would do beautifully in a rural, low-traffic environment where he isn’t constantly overwhelmed.

🐶 RUFUS needs a quiet, adult-only home with no children, no cats, and no other dogs. He would do best in a rural or countryside location, with safe walking areas where he won’t be overstimulated. A home with a secure garden, time for routine walks, and an experienced handler who understands guarding or reactive breeds would be IDEAL. This boy is ready to give his heart to the person who will help him feel safe and teach him that the world is not a threat. Rufus is not an immediately “easy” dog—but he is a real and rewarding companion. If you are looking to help a dog who has had a hard start but still has so much love inside, Rufus is worth it. He needs someone to show him that his job now is not to protect but to be protected.
