๐ LOOKING FOR FOSTER-TO-ADOPT OR FOREVER HOME ๐
๐ฌ๐ง Arrival due on Friday 28th of February
๐ RBU, post-adoption support, and 4 weeks free PetPlan insurance provided upon adoption
๐ถ MARFA is a small-sized, 3-year-old corgi-type girl with a quiet, tender heart. After a life of hardship, she is finally learned what love and kindness feel like. She is ready to arrive on the Happy Doggy Bus to the UK on 28th of February, but she needs a home to go.
Quick Facts
SIZE: Small (34 cm shoulder height / 8 kg)
SPAYED: Yes
CHARACTER HIGHLIGHTS: Gentle, shy but affectionate, well-mannered
DOGS: Good with all dogs
CATS: Good with cats
CHILDREN: Friendly but prefers a calm environment
Rescue Story:
๐ถ MARFA and her daughter, SAMANTHA, were found in heartbreaking conditions, chained outside in the freezing cold, barely surviving. Their owner, a man struggling with addiction, had already taken MARFAโs other puppies to the forest and abandoned them. They were never seen again. When a rescue volunteer visited a relative in the village and heard about MARFAโs suffering, she rushed to find them. What she saw was devastatingโtwo tiny, fragile dogs tied to broken wooden boxes, their only shelter from the bitter winter. They were chained far apart, unable to even huddle together for warmth. Their only food was scraps, often spoiled and barely edible. MARFAโs gentle eyes held both sadness and hope, as if she still believed someone would come to save her. And finally, someone did.
Detailed Information:
๐ถ MARFA is a little treasure, incredibly well-mannered and gentle in every way. She is still getting used to affection, often freezing in quiet disbelief when stroked, as though she canโt quite believe she is finally safe. But once she realises she is loved, she leans into every touch, eager to trust and belong.

๐ถ MARTIN, a 7-month-old puppy boy, is searching for a safe and loving home where he can continue to build confidence and show his gentle, affectionate nature. MARTIN is a small-sized pup almost fully grown.
Quick Facts:
SIZE: Small (38 cm / 10 kg, may grow slightly)
SPAYED/NEUTERED: No (neuter agreement applies)
CHARACTER HIGHLIGHTS: Gentle, calm, shy but affectionate
DOGS: Good with other dogs (prefers calmer or female dogs)
CATS: Good with cats
CHILDREN: Best with older dog-savvy children (9+)
๐ถ MARTIN is currently at Foster with few other dovs abd that's what they say about him: " Martin has settled in really well and enjoys the company of other dogs as well as lots of human fuss. He is an absolute sweetheart. He is a typical puppy and is very playful. He has settled into our household routine taking things slowly so he has adjusted well and his confidence is building.
He is food/treat motivated so is responsive to training such as recall. He will bark when he meets someone new (human or dog) but quickly accepts them with reassurance from his humans. He will mouth our hands (as puppyโs do) but has been extremely gentle with us. His toilet training is 90% there.
Martin would suit a home with at least one another dog his size or larger so he can play and learn confidently from them. Heโs healthy, happy and bouncy and has a beautiful coat. I would suggest an adult only home but Iโm confident he would be fine with a dog savvy teenager. Heโs been through a lot so needs a family that will show patience with him.
