For months she wandered near the same place, still hoping someone would call her name again. One day, poison was scattered to kill the stray dogs — and nearly every one of them died. By some miracle, Bonina survived. The rescuer who found her says, “She is one of those dogs you can’t forget. Kind, clever, and endlessly loving — she just wants to be near people.”

🐾 Bilochka, whose name means “Squirrel” in Ukrainian, is a lovely 3.5-year-old small/small-to-medium girl. Her soft, warm eyes reflect all the kindness and wisdom of a dog who has seen much, yet still believes that good people exist.
