‼️URGENT UPDATE FOR TOMORROWS CLASSES‼️
You will have all received an email but incase you see this first;

“Unfortunately due to Storm Berts appearance today and through to tomorrow midday, I have regrettably made the decision to cancel. I'm unsure what the roads will still look like by tomorrow and may be unsafe due to the flooding. I am also very certain that the longsight car park and longsight park will be flooded.

Small reminder for next week;
Mondays class - cancelled
Tuesdays class - cancelled
Thursdays class - going ahead as normal
Saturdays classes - going ahead as normal.”

Oh behalf of a customer looking to re home their gorgeous dog. Needs someone with time to train him and a breed knowledgeable home, he’s a fantastic boy and quick to pick up what you’re asking him to do!

Beautiful 10 month old Cane Corso

He is boisterous, and excitable just needs the right home and person to train and love him and who hopefully is knowledgeable about the breed. He lives with another male dog and 3 cats.

He can be reactive on walks but with the proper training this can be overcome. Unfortunately I can't give him the attention he needs. He is fully vaccinated.
Looking for £200 for the right home, we will arrange a home check.

HUGE well done to everyone that completed our 6 week beginners class 🏅

Today, on Remembrance Day, we pause to honor and remember the sacrifices made by all those who served in times of war—including the animals who stood alongside them. Horses, dogs, pigeons, and other animals provided support, companionship, and unwavering loyalty in the face of unimaginable challenges.

Fantastic morning for the 4XPaws Adventure walk.
The puppies did fantastic with their focus, loose lead, recall and dealing with distractions in a new environment!

They even got to enjoy some appropriate play time and did superb at recalling away and then heading back to play again!

Our next adventure walk will be Christmas themed at Longsight Park, Harwood on Sunday 22nd December at 9am for puppies under 6 months and 10.15 am for adult 6+ months.

People always ask me ‘𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗮 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹?'
The truth is how long is a piece of string?

It took my working line Border Collie a couple of weeks and her recall is insane but that’s her breeding just as much as it was training!

However it took miniature Dachshund at least 2 years and again that’s her breeding, she’s a hound she’s bred to find a scent and follow it!

So many factors depend on how well and how quickly your dog will learn a recall such as

🐾Motivation
🐾Personality
🐾Consistency
🐾Building a recall around distractions
