Welcome to 2025 🍾 and the 1st day of a new month, which can only mean it's "Ping a Pound" day.

With several of our cats waiting for vaccinations, microchips, and neuter, every penny counts so that we can get them to their forever homes.

Thank you all for your support!

Available for adoption in January!!!!!

A very sweet Calico female named Bella. She is 6 months old with a very calm character. She is good with older children, not tested with young children or dogs. Loves to be a lap cat and needs a warm loving home.

Bella has a clean bill of health from the vet, will be chipped, fully vaccinated and spayed at the time of adoption. She needs a home through no fault of her own as her previous owners were returning to their home abroad and couldn't take her with them. The charity stepped in at the final hour when the owners couldn't find anyone else to take her in and advertised her as a donation on facebook!

If you think you can provide a good home for Bella please email [email protected] using her name in the subject line.

Please note that there is an adoption fee of Β£150.

Unfortunately, 14-year-old Popcorn's owner could no longer take care of her after being diagnosed with dementia. πŸ₯Ή

Fosterer Vicki took her in just two days before Christmas so she wasn't alone during the festive period. 😽

We would love to find Popcorn a loving forever home in the New Year. πŸ™

We would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas. It’s been a crazy couple of first months for our small charity getting set up and caring for the multiple cats that have already crossed our path. We want to say a huge thank you all for supporting us through donations of time, space, money, goodies for the cats, goodies for us to raffle for fundraising, fulfilling our Amazon wish list and your moral support.

Without all of this we wouldn’t have been able to get off the ground. We hope that everyone has a joyful holiday and we will be ready to hopefully grow and rescue, reunite and rehome many more cats in 2025!

After months of investigating Rook's medical issues, including a significant stay in the vets, we have finally reached a diagnosis for Rook and have decided on a treatment and care strategy πŸ™

Rook has asthma and Irritable Bowel Disease which was most likely triggered/exacerbated because he was a stray as a kitten, in the cold and having to forage for food πŸˆβ€β¬›οΈ

This diagnosis means that Rook will need supervision, care and management going forward from an experienced cat owner. This diagnosis also means that these conditions will never be covered under insurance πŸ₯

We have looked at all the options for Rook. A long term foster is not appropriate for such a young cat and trying to adopt him out (whilst there are some very kind souls out there) is not realistic due to the financial commitment and experience required.

The Trustees have therefore agreed that the best option for Rook is to be adopted by our Trustee Nicola who is currently fostering him where he is already comfortable and coming into his own! He will join in being a resident cat with LuLu and Betty 😻 😻

The Trustees would like to thank everyone for all the generous donations which did save Rook's life in the beginning of his journey with the Charity and has allowed us to continue investigations until we have reached this diagnosis πŸ’•

Last night we collected Cindy Lou, from Voo Surbiton.

We are helping The Ginger Cat House Rescue, Refuge and Rehome centre. Surrey UK with Cindy Lou, as we had space to get her in.

We feel it is important to work with other rescues, as we know how stretched they are and we want to help ease the pressure.

Cindy Lou is doing well and settled in with Sarah, who has done a fantastic job already.

This takes our total to 10 fosters, with one pending to come in.

Thank you for all your support!

Cindy Lou doing nicely with her fosterer, huge thank you to Niki for organising a space for her. We are working alongside a new rescue, Byfleet cat sitters, good for small rescues to support each other.

So lovely to see that Harley and Quinn are happy in their foster home with Jim and his family 🏑

We were a little worried about Quinn as he was very unsure of his new surroundings, but he is now relaxing and becoming more settled ❀️

Great work πŸ‘ as usual from our fantastic foster team, we couldn't do this without you.

Today we have taken in two females, Calico Beauty 5 months old who was going to be thrown out of the house this evening πŸ˜”

Also little 10 week old Tabby Angel who was found by a lovely member of the public in Woking, who took her straight to Kingswood Vets, she had either been knocked by a car, thrown or jumped out of a window as she had an injury to her head. Thankfully nothing broken πŸ™

Both in now safely in with fosters, and doing very well ❀️

This now takes our fosters up to 9 and we are expecting to bring two more into safety over the next 72 hours.

*Update*

We were able to get more information from the Ginger Cat House, registered to an address in Wembley, has an international chip, unfortunately no answer on phone and email has bounced back.

This lovely boy is called Pepper and is 11 years old, if anyone knows any information please contact us.

Emma has just gone and scanned this gorgeous black cat, thank goodness there is a microchip, we will now try and reunite with owner.

This again proves that microchipping is such a great thing to do for your cats, and is also the law.
