Lovely new stock has arrived at twoblacksheep.shop in Harlech. Don’t miss this oasis of creativity next time you visit the town. It’s an absolute treasure trove of handmade items from textiles to ceramics, silver and glass. And of course, really good handmade soap 😉😁
Bore da / good morning!
Hope you all had a lovely weekend? Did you see the aurora? Enjoy the sunshine? It made such a change for us to have such good weather and be able to get out into the garden 🤩
I forgot to share this on Friday - I updated the soap dishes category on the website so there are a load more ceramic dishes on there now (and better photos!)
These dishes are made locally by Helen at Helen Blue Slate at Snowdonia Blue Slate Pottery and are brilliant for letting your soap dry between uses - a must if you want it to stay firm right down to the last sliver.

Calling all Anglesey folk! Seapig has become the very first bricks & mortar stockist of the Luxury Body Cream. Thank you Cara! (They have sample pots too, so you can sniff and sample before you buy 🥰)
Please pop along if you’re in the area and support a fellow small business, we all need your support now more than ever.
🍉 Ugian eiliad o arllwys a thorri sebon Dyfrfelon mewn ugian eiliad. Joiwch! 🍉
🍉 Twenty seconds of pouring and cutting Watermelon soap. Enjoy! 🍉
The star of this week’s Sunday Scenery post is one of the Welsh Highland Railway steam trains coming into the village. Or is is Jac, at the end, with (let’s be honest) his IMPECCABLE timing.
Have a lovely Sunday!
Ever wondered how I make these Eryri bars? It can get a bit messy, but the finally result is always worth the effort and the hand sculpted process means that no two bars are ever the same.
Fragranced with a custom blend of lime, peppermint, patchouli and a teeny bit of eucalyptus essential oils for a fresh, outdoorsy scent.
Have you brought the Welsh mountains into your shower yet? 😁
Controversial but…😬😂
I use my sisal exfoliating bag to collect up end pieces and scraps of soap and when it’s full I use it in the shower. Never EVER for new bars of soap.
You’re welcome!
(With apologies for the annoying music, it’s Instagram - what can you do 🤷🏼♀️😂)
As promised, the recording I took of cutting the Traeth bars - just one loaf though, didn’t want to send you to sleep by showing them all 😂
🌊 🌊 🌊
Happy Saturday lovelies! Hope you’re all enjoying the long weekend 🥰
Thank you for all your responses to my washing related question the other day. I’m still collecting and collating responses from various places but I’ll share the results when I have them.
But for now, these are the 8 loaves / 136 bars of Traeth that I made on Thursday. I’ll share the cutting video very soon 😁
Have a great rest-of-the-day!
Fabulous news for Porthmadog peeps 🎉🎉
Newyddion wych i bobol Porthmadog 🎉🎉
Ty Martha at the top of the Hight Street now stocks this lovely selection of Soap Mine bars alongside their gorgeous ladies wear and gifts.
(I can’t tag them for some reason so if anyone else is able to do the honours in the comments I’d be very grateful)
I probably should have posted this BEFORE they went on sale 🙄😂
For those of you waiting until payday - don’t worry - there are still plenty left! Almost exactly half have sold, with Zen being the most popular so far.
Thank you to everyone who’s ordered, I posted a few parcels out on Friday so should be with you tomorrow. I’ll catch up with the weekend orders tomorrow and have them on their way to you by the end of the day.
Have a lovely Sunday, whatever you’re up to. It’s raining here (again 😂) but at least I won’t feel like I’m wasting sunshine while I’m tackling the ironing mountain!!
Who has snow today? We woke up to a little bit more here in Beddgelert this morning - not loads but enough to make everything pretty, and the sun’s been shining all day. Just beautiful!
Bore da / good morning!
There’s still time to get some Soap Mine goodies posted before the Christmas cut off (next Monday) but here at Soapy HQ the focus has changed and the Great Restock of 2023 is underway 😆
It’s been a busy few months and the soap shelves are looking decidedly bare. Given that it takes a good 4-6 weeks for my bars to fully cure ready for use, I need to get a wriggle on and get LOTS of soap made before Christmas if I’m to have anything to sell in January (and if I want my much needed time off over the holidays!)
This is a snippet of the making of 136 bars of yummy Pineapple earlier in the week, I’ll share more as I make progress 🤞
Galeri (Caernarfon) heddiw / today 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Llwyth o stondeni gwych / Lots and lots of gorgeous stalls 😍😍😍
Happy 1st November!
Apparently if I talk to my phone and record myself doing so, more people will buy my stuff! Reckon it’s worth a shot 😂 ( Please excuse Jac shouting at a puddle in the background 🙈)
The Christmas soap bars are now live on the website, matching sprinkles coming soon.
Want a freebie with your next order? No problem, just place your order 👍🏻😁
EVERY order, no matter how big or small, includes a free sample. Usually I’ll surprise you, but if there’s something you really want to try, just pop a comment in the notes box at checkout and I’ll do my absolute best to oblige 👍🏻
Have a great weekend - don’t forget the autumn range is now available and won’t be restocked again this year!
🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁
Autumn fragrances are my absolute favourite 🤩
And now they have matching bath sprinkles 🎉
