🐶🐾 Things that we have achieved during the wet weather so far this week -

• stayed dry whilst having lots of fun on our woodland walks
• kept warm and looked so adorably snuggly during our home visits
• our group walkers sniffed all of the new smells the rain brings
• had lots of fun and enriching playtime at home!

Well we’ve made it to the half way point of this week. I’m reflecting on what a lovely week I’ve had with my four-legged family so far 🐶🐾 it’s great to still have some sunshine on our walks because I know it’s not going to be for much longer but we’re certainly happier to be more cooler and comfortable than we were this time last week ☀️ Looking forward to the next couple of days! Me and today’s group walkers were very excited to visit the area’s newest secure field, Explore by Paw and we were not disappointed! We sniffed 3 acres of well maintained grass, slurped bottomless water from the constant fresh water fountain and ran around and jumped over the agility equipment. All in the company of our beloved four-legged friends 🐶🐾 thank you very much for having us and we’re really looking forward to coming back again soon! Had the best company during my day sit with Buddy this weekend 💙 we went for a lovely walk around St Pierre Woods, followed by brunch at Nellie's Coffee Shop. Buddy was such a good boy that he even made it on to their doggy wall of fame 🐶🐾 thank you Buddy for making my job the best job in the world 🌎

I guess this is how one of the kittens have decided to keep herself entertained in the cool comfort of home whilst I’m out melting 🫠🤣

It was humid today but we’ll take it 🐶🐾 glad my solo walkers had the cloudy sky to venture under, my group walkers had more freedom to play at Rosemary Lane. Private Paddock and enrichment could take place in the gardens during my house visits ☀️ keep comfortable everyone and see you tomorrow! 🐶🐾

Despite having another challenging day in this heat, 11 dogs across 4 walks have returned home happy and comfortable today with either early morning or shaded woodland walks ☀️ looking forward to some overcast couple of days ahead before the next stint of sun on the weekend! Another successful day yesterday, with reasonable adjustments being made to ensure that all scheduled walks and visits could go ahead but in a safer, slower and more controlled manner.

If we weren’t under the shaded canopy of the woods with lots of water and more mental enrichment and stimulation, we were at home relaxing in the cool comfort of our own homes 🥰

☀️ flexibility on extreme weather days means that we don’t need to cancel slots and can continue with the day impact and worry-free! Thanks everyone 🐶🐱🐾

Ed’s got a hard day of sunbathing ahead of him today and probably going to be in the same position as I left him when I get home 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️ sound familiar?! 🤭 Talk about working hard so our pets can live a better life right?! 🐶🐾💕

It’s great to be back! I’ve especially missed those of you who have been lucky enough to go on holiday this summer or had your humans at home to walk you 😀

A tough day to start the new term on but we did it 💪 We’re so lucky to have so many woods around us to keep us shaded on the really sunny days! And yes, we drank refrigerated bottled water today 🤣
