Hope you’re all doing well! 🐶

We may be quiet from now until mid April time, as we are off on holiday (with Bodge of course) in just under a week, so after that we will have some more availability from mid April time 😊

We’re back!!!

Super sorry for the quietness over Christmas and New Year’s, we have been quite busy with a mix of family things, doing lots of work in our house and caring for all of our own pets.

But we’re back now and will start to reply to any missed messages over the coming days.

I have been thinking of a few extra add-ons I could offer for an additional charge, along with the pet sitting, these could include:

- Dog walking 🦮🐕‍🦺🐩 I have experience with all different kinds of dog breeds from chihuahuas and jack Russells to Leonbergers, mastiffs, etc, and I have grown up from a child always with bigger dogs in our homes (GSD, GSD x Doberman, leonbergers, staffies, collies)

- Puppy & dog training (positive reinforcement!) can include general training, house training, loose leash walking and potentially more! 🐶🐶
- Nail clipping for rabbits, Guinea pigs, and possibly cats ✂️
- Dog grooming, and washing potentially after muddy walks - more to come on this 🧼🫧
- Cat, rabbit, Guinea pig grooming 🐈🐹🐇
- Enclosure cleaning for small animals, birds, reptiles 🐢🐇🦜🐀

Hello and welcome to Wagging Tails Pet Sitting! 🥰✨

I am so excited to be starting up my new pet sitting/ care business, it’s been a long time coming! I am eager to pursue my passion for animal care. ❤️🦮🐕‍🦺🐴🐈🐰🐹

My name is Dexy, I am 22 and have always had a huge love for animals of all sizes great and small since a very young age, I have owned many myself over the years ranging from mice, hamsters, Guinea pigs, rabbits etc up to dogs, cats, reptiles, and birds so I have a LOT of animal experience! 🐶🐱🐰🐹🐍🐢🐔🦆🐴🦜🐾

I went to animal college for 2 years and I have two qualifications in Animal Care: a level 1 certificate in Animal Care & Management and a level 2 certificate (diploma) in Zoo Animal Care & Management. I learned about all different kinds of species and their needs whilst at college and working/ studying at Dartmoor Zoo. 🦁🐯🐸🦉🦓🐆🐊🦨🦔

I also did work experience a few years back at a dog kennels and cattery for a while, walking the dogs, cleaning their kennels, spending time with them, feeding, watering, etc. I’ve always helped out my parents from a young age with walking the family dogs (GSD’s, Doberman, staffy) and looking after them and the other pets so I also have lots of experience walking dogs too (I have my own border collie as well) so I am thinking of adding on dog walking for an additional charge to the business too. ❤️🦮🐕‍🦺🐩

I also have some farm & equine experience and a massive love for horses so (not yet) but hopefully one day in the future I will be able to offer care for horses and farm animals too, because they are my biggest passion! 🐴🐴

Based in Callington, Cornwall. Can possibly travel to areas like St Ann’s Chapel, Pensilva, Stoke Climsland, Saltash but not able to do much outside of Callington on a regular basis as I don’t yet have my own car or drive so I have to rely on public transport.

More information, pricing, availability etc will be coming soon. I will soon be insured for this as well as getting a DBS check and all the other things in place. Will also get proof of my certificates.
Pet sitting will take place in the clients’ home - not the clients’ animals coming to my home.
