Looking for a 🏡 16.1hh 3 year old PRE gelding. I’m sending this boy away tomorrow, to be lightly backed by my friend Terrie Louise Cowley and to continue is ground work and general education. He is a substantial and well bred PRE. He was gelded in Feb this year. More pictures to follow over the next few days as this was taken last summer! We are selling a few young horses to cut down due to family commitments.

On Sunday evening we had our final foal of the season! This beautiful little filly is by Colourthyme Kajika and out of a beautifully bred Welsh B mare who was kindly loaned to us from another stud. She is simply perfect! She is a palomino blanket spot and should make a perfect sports pony in the future! More pictures will follow!

We currently have 3 PRE mares available. All have been recently backed and ridden away. The two greys have been started in the last month and are purely just hacking out at the minute and building strength and confidence, with their rider, while out and about on the lanes. The bay mare has been backed and ridden away for around three months now and is coming on really well in her riding. She will make an excellent little competition horse and is ready to go on and do more. They are currently with a friend of ours who has backed all three due to us moving to a new yard. All are up to date with teeth and are barefoot.
The bay mare is 15hh.
The lighter grey is 15.2hh
The darker grey is 16.1hh
All are rising 5

At 1am this morning we welcomed this ‘not so little’ buckskin c**t into the world. He is enormous! He is by Colourthyme Kajika and out of one of our PRE mares. He is a beautiful and one chunky monkey!

Another Colourthyme Kajika daughter! This special girl belongs to a client of ours. She will be a registered with Spotted Spanish horse Studbook as her mother is a PRE. We will be getting full colour panel done on her BUT she looks to be a Smokey Cream complete with blanket! This filly will be for sale and will mature to around 16.2hh. Deposit will secure until weaning.

Currently standing 14.3 4yo (will make at least 15.1) bay PRE mare.

Betty has come to me from a very good friend who has owned her since a yearling. She was purchased from a highly respected stud yard in Spain.

What to say about Betty. Well. She has the most amazing intelligent brain. You show her a way to do something and she’s got it! She is super easy to teach. She’s willing and will be super talented! She has had everything done correctly and accepted everything first time.

She hacks out alone and in a group. Nothing at all in the way of traffic fazes her. She will walk trot canter on either no contact at all or if asked on a collected contact. A very easy straight forward thinking mare who is happy to do what ever you say is safe to do.

She did have a wee buck when asked to go into canter but that is subsiding now.

For a 4yo this mare is a very exciting prospect for someone to take and put their own stamp on.

Her breeding is second to none.

Her ancestry, on her father’s side, being Militar bloodlines and her grandfather being the great Capellón.

Capellón is a graded and qualified stallion, bred by the Yeguada Militar. He has great height, bone and very good functionality. Capellón had an amazing track record, with the great Juan Robles Marchena and he has more than four hundred offspring inscribed.

Bloodline: Capellon is by the legendary Lego by Lebrijano III, Lebrero (from Bahones), Bizarro XIV and Lenguaje.

One of our young horses has been away for backing and to be ridden away by a very good friend of mine. She will be available and looking for a new 🏡 in the next couple of weeks. This mare is rising 4 and is currently standing at 14.2hh. This little lady will make the most perfect future pony club pony / competition pony. She is a beautiful PRE with full papers but on the smaller side height wise. HOWEVER her temperament is to die for! she will be available at a reduced rate but the longer she stays with my friend for further development and training the more her price will increase. She has many young fans already and although my daughter wants her for camp we are reducing our stock so I have to stay strong! She has been mainly hacking and learning the ropes in a gentle manner. After many sleepless nights we finally welcome this precious cargo into the world! This little lady is one of our clients Helena ‘s special embryo transfer foals. She has safely arrived and both mum and baby doing well 🥰 This filly is by Legend showjumping stallion Emerald van't Ruytershof and out of the amazing jumping mare Andrea!! We think she looks like mum! We are in love ❤️❤️

Due to our impending location move we have had to have a serious think about cutting down on some of our breeding stock. This has been a painstaking process and a very emotional one which I never in a million years thought I would be having to do however we will now be looking for new owner for our main boy Colourthyme Kajika.

This boy is an experienced stallion, with many years left for producing foals. Kajika has a heart of gold and is very easy to handle ( my kids handle him) He can be turned out with mares, cover in hand and is also trained to do collections for AI. His foals are always strong, with fabulous movement and gentle temperaments.

This is a very difficult decision for me so please only contact us if you are generally interested.

I do also have other available stock that I will post about over the coming days.

We are looking for a freelancer to join our team to do some cover work, on our Staughton based yard. It will mainly be a few Am’s dotted here and there, through May, June, July and an occasional Pm. We waved Canella off to Italy to fly the flag for the Valle over there! He is off to have Dressage training and to get some competitions under his belt before we look at grading and standing him here. We can’t wait to go and visit him and cheer him on but boy I will miss him while he is away 🥰❤️❤️

First foal of the season for us here at Valle stud! This little beauty was bred and is owned by Cee Tacoma. She is a 37.5% WB, 37.5% lusitano and 25% Rocky Mountain. She makes a lovely sport mix and is simply amazing! Both mum and foal doing well! More pictures to follow once she has uncurled!

We are very excited to share that we have expanded and taken on new and larger premises near central Cambridge. The horses that have moved over have settled in very well!

We are looking for a freelance groom based in the Cambridge area, who can drive, to do some cover work and potentially stay on to work on a two week on two week off rota. We have many work options available including the potential of bringing your own horse.
Must have experience handling Stallions/mares/ youngstock and fit competition horses, be self- motivated and confident working alone at times. We are looking for someone who takes pride in turning out to a high standard and who has great people skills with a friendly nature.
We have competition horses based with us that will need exercise so riding is desired but not essential.

Irlandera is a 13 year old 15.2hh ridden PRE with three beautiful paces. She is well schooled and hacks out alone or in company. Irlandera is a forward going ride so not suitable for a novice. These are issues that every horse and rider will come across at some point. We work hard here at Valle, with the horses, building their confidence to help them deal and manage with their flight reflexes. They are never too young or old to learn how to cope within these situations, that can arise anywhere anytime. We will soon have space for another schooling livery.
