Rabbit Owner Support Services ROSS I started rescuing rabbits at 16 where I founded and managed Rabbit Residence Rescue until April 2016.

I then set up Rabbit Rambles now known as ROSS where I realised there was many aspects of rabbit ownership help people were crying out for.

Dear bunny clients.

Since Novemebr 2024 I’ve been cleaning houses to help make ends meet but have been in a quandary on what my future would hold regarding energy levels, working hours and services I provide.

I can reassure you that during April 2 week holidays and for the entirety of the summer holidays I shall be focusing on rabbit boarding and resigning from house cleaning due to undoubtedly work overload.

Other times that are quieter with bunny boarding, I’ll continue to juggle cleaning houses with bunny grooming, various consultations and health checks.

My brain cells and schedule continue to be challenged in this crazy world with so many bills to pay, single parent, one income house hold

As always do chase me as my WhatsApp and email inbox are full and I’m sat here attempting my HRMC accounts.

I shall look forward to continuing to offer a loving caring experienced bunny boarding service as 2025 unfolds 💝🙏🏽🐰

Happy new year to everyone! I have taken multi tasking to the next level but I am still here! Going with the flow and not quite sure what 2025 will hold! An interesting party for my son’s 8th birthday! Still here for bunny butt service, grooming, boarding etc just slightly more juggling with the exhaustion of fitting in house cleans too! 🐰🐰🧹🌸 main bunny question is who will be vaccinating their bunnies against the new strain of vhd and if it would be correct for me to add it to list of vaccines required to board with me. !? An extra special Merry Xmas to clients and bunny friends. I Have been immensely humbled and appreciative of everyone’s kindness this year. Donating to my long term bunnies and me personally through some very challenging times!

Now we have to get our bunnies all vaccinated from this new strain of VHD
I just pray the 2025 brings work life balance to myself and all around me and lots of laughter and happy times and less struggles. Here’s to 2024 and a very kind caring bunny community 🌸🙏🏽🐰

Huge thanks for a very kind friend for Paying £180 today to have Boady and Wig vaccinated. Huge thanks to everyone who has donated. Also thanks to my dad for Driving to Peterborough to collect wigs prednicare and Boady’s gabapentin. Boady has gained weight and is 2.015kg. Flushed his ear abscess today and gave him a little bunny butt clean. Wig I’ve asked for higher pain meds for his thymomia on heart as he is over grooming a dewlap area and hind legs. Though eyes look normal since starting prednicare after initially bulging out. I’m exhausted and still getting used to doing new jobs. Got a second house cleaning job next week, a dog walk and also spent 3 hours cleaning fallen leaves and tidying someone’s garden. 3 bunny health checks this Thursday and a big Hunky bunny having a last minute stay. Huge thanks to another dear client/ friend for organising a shop for me this week and for the support from my son’s school mums. Also thank you for the 2 Molt Bolt Box orders of which will be built this week💝🙏🏽🌼🐰

IMPORTANT

Hope everyone and their bunnies are keeping warm! Just a little announcement that over the coming months I’ll be winding down my holiday boarding service to only 2 rooms for house bunnies and only 3 outdoor spaces.

Due to the industry just not being viable as a one person income household I shall, as surreal as it seems right now be concentrating on growing my new ventures of house cleaning, ironing and dog walking.

I shall still offer bunny health checks and grooming but hope to eventually have 3 days of regular hourly paid work.

To give the 5 star care your bunnies deserve I can’t spread myself thinly so will offer boarding to a smaller number of bunnies, especially where many I care for are special needs and on medication.

Ofcourse not forgettting my darling 7 year old son. Thank you for everyone’s support over the years and recent months which have been particularly challenging for me with mental health and financially, including finding the funds for my 3 rescue bunnies. Hopefully soon 4 with Bambi praying to marry and bond well with Queenie! 💝🐰🙏🏽

Dear Queenie has been alone since first week June when she tragically lost her partner Bumble. After a lot of patience we have found a neutered vaccinated single buck to bond with her and the security of returning him should the bond fail. A very emotional day, and she bunny flopped next to him , no camera of course! It’s been a difficult time with financial worries but Queenie needs a friend. Thank you to Hannah for bringing him to us and allowing us the opportunity to find happiness and companionship for Queenie and Bambi.
In the meantime I’ve been advertising for work outside of the rabbit world including dog walking, cleaning, ironing to try and bring income whilst boarding has dried up. Thank you to the kind bunny mum who has offered to help me compose a CV 💝🐰🐰

Can’t thank all the kind hearted followers for donating yesterday. This came in post today! I’ll be ordering Wigs prednicare £28 and thank you to the bunny mummy who paid for Boadys Gabapentin. These 2 drugs can’t be posted due to, I think them being off lisence or something. So I’ll be making a trip to Peterborough asap. I’ve also ordered 2 bales of shavings and some more dried plantain arrived along with ordering aome protexin pellets for Queenie. 💝🙏🏽🙏🏽🐰🐰🐰

Huge again heart felt thanks to the £70 raised via gofund me which will go towards
Metacam for Boady and queenie and Prednicare for wig. This is the first year I’ve had such severe financial trouble. Earlier on in the year the 3 long term bunnies started their medications, costing £150 every month and November is notoriously quiet for boarding but this year including the coming 3 months I’ve never seen so few bookings. I know many of my regular boarders have had change in direction of life or relocated so have not been able to board their bunnies with me. Please share as I now have plenty of space for new clients . Also board Guinea pigs 🙏🏽

Well after 3 hours at the vets and a half hour drive either way, Beatrix now has 2 more medications! My poor child is exhausted and I’ve had to eat chocolate and monster drinks and no house work done 🙈 I will update everyone tomorrow! Thank you for everyone’s prayers and support and gofund me donations. To help the owner fund the expensive surgery I’ve been offering half rate boarding and doing vet visits and nursing free of charge.

Good Morning! Look forward to seeing this months Boarding clients and bunnies! Hopefully more cute photos to be taken! I’ve now set up a bank account for ROSS rescue rabbits so once the Go fund me money has been transferred to my account, I’ll work out what we have left over from Bumbles bill and put the rest into their account to start saving for swabs and CT scans for Boady and Queenie. Been another crazy week! Never seems enough hours! Caring for 300 rabbits was weirdly easier/ had more order and structure and better routine than caring for one child, running a home and caring for up to 18 rabbits. 🙈🙈🙈 I thought it would be so much easier 🤷🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ child now 7 yrs old lol
