My weekly neutrality drop in class restarted last night - handlers were nervous, dogs excited, but everyone settled in beautifully

*Neutrality is the ability of staying focused, feeling confident and being relaxed around distractions - and it doesn't come built in for many dogs*

I'm so proud of everyone who chose to show up, in the dark, in the cold, for their dog - it feels like magic to watch the dogs learn the skills they need to navigate this crazy world ✨️

Canine autumn mini shoots are back! It's the perfect time to get out in nature to have some fun in the golden tones of autumn.

What am I offering?

🍂 30 minute session on Sunday 26th October at Wootton Woods between King's Lynn & Castle Rising, Norfolk
🍂 2x high resolution digital images with the opportunity to purchase more.
🍂 £85 per session

For those of you with animals who are scared of fireworks these are two local displays I’m aware of (I’m sure there are more, please feel free to add any you know of in the comments) just for your information so we can all be aware of them and set some provisions in place.

I give my own dogs chamomile in their food leading up to these events. I also close all curtains and increase the house noise by adding radios into the bedrooms and tvs on in all rooms that have them. I have even been known to drive my dogs around and out into the quiet fens to avoid them where possible too.

Please feel free to share any helpful tips you’ve found work with your pets to help lessen the stress for them xx

A recent ‘job share’ job with Heidi @ Heidi's Pet Friends sorting these gorgeous 5 poodles for their owner while she had a day away. 🖤🩶🖤🤍🤍 two vans required and two pairs of hands (we did do a couple of dummy runs while mum was on hand first)

Small animal pop ins

Rabbits, Guinea pigs, rodents, birds, fish and even stick insects ☺️- all your small animal needs met in visits up to half an hour for just £8 per visit (in March) This includes feeding, spot cleaning, changing water, topping up bedding, topping up millet sprays, seed bars etc
Also during these home visits plant watering can be done, bins put out when needed, curtains open and closed, lights on/off so the home looks ‘busy’ and not empty.

I offer a pop in service in March with visits up to half an hour to feed, clean out, refresh water etc
(including plant watering and popping your bins out on the appropriate evening) for only £8 per visit.

So … funniest cat sit ever just recently! This little madam wouldn’t come in for me one evening and her ‘mum’ likes her indoors overnights, I tried calling, I tried sitting on the path in the garden, shaking the dreamies and even fussing the other cats to try to coax her in but she wasn’t falling for any of it! So messaged ‘mum’ and then we came up with a plan! Mum phoned me and I had her on loud speaker, she calls the little ‘monkey’ and she fell for it and came looking for mum and I managed to pick her up and bring her in for bed! I’ve been doing this job for 12 years now and this was a first for me! So funny and bless her she was so floppy when I picked her up almost like ‘oh darn it I fell for their trick!’ 🤣😂🤣😂
