Enrichment is for our small animals aswell as our dogs! My Guinea girls love it when I trim our bamboo and decorate their home with bits of it to eat, it encourages natural foraging, climbing, stretching and gnawing!
They also love apple branches and leaves, willow tree and various others (please Google and make sure you’re using ones that are safe to eat the leaves, bark and branches)

Enrichment isn’t just for dogs! My hamsters love homemade ‘puzzle/enrichment’ toys/items. I mix plain flour and water and paint hamster safe chew items with the sticky mix then coat with various seeds, you can also do this with their mix, meal worms, dried vegetables and pretty much anything they are allowed to eat. Leave to dry completely before adding to their cage for them to pick at when they wake up 🥰

So I got the idea from Kelly from With Kelly Pet Services and club and I thought yes I need to do more mini sessions and ‘things’ with my boys so I have written out some things to do on post it notes, folded them and placed into a jar and will pick one out each day to make me accountable for making sure I spend quality time at least once a day with one of the boys so today I picked out ‘practice self control’ so the boys have done some games at the dog field to help them wait before getting their toys (and I’ve not eaten chocolate or sweets today 😂) so we’ve all shown some self control and had some fun together!
