Cat showing or exhibiting is an exciting competitive activity where cats compete against each other for prizes or awards. It is a competition where a cat’s attributes and conformation are compared against a breed standard for its breed. Whilst it can be taken seriously, it can also be a fun pursuit that people can thoroughly enjoy with their cats and family or friends. You don’t need to be a breeder, or even own a pedigree cat—there are classes to suit all levels of cat ownership.

Before showing your cat it is a good idea to visit a show to see what is involved. There are shows held almost every weekend and you can find information on the GCCF website, where the show calendar will give you all the information you need to find shows in your area. We'd love to welcome you!

I attended the GCCF Wyvern and Exotic Cat Club shows today in Coventry.

Fab show, and great to catch up with fellow breeders and cat lovers 🩷

My Twinkle did well again and achieved Best of Breed and Breed 1st 🥇 🎉🩷👍

Onwards and upwards as they say, two more CC’s and she’ll reach Championship status ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
