A member of the public has brought in a stray dog found in Aylesham this morning. Female, wearing a collar, spaniel type. If you believe this to be your dog then please call the practice 01227832322. Proof of ownership will be required, microchip details are not up to date and no tag on the collar.

Earlier this month, our wonderful nurse Robyn and receptionist Taylor had the absolute pleasure of visiting Halling Primary School to be a part of their 'People Who Help Us' month! ๐ŸŽ‰

They had an amazing time sharing what we do at the vets, not only focusing on fixing sick or injured animals, but also on the importance of keeping our furry friends healthy in the first place. ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿ’‰๐Ÿฑ

The kids had a blast bringing in their own teddies, where we showed them how to do a thorough check up and bandage their poorly bears. It was heartwarming to see their excitement and curiosity about animal care. ๐Ÿงธโค๏ธ

A big thank you to the school for having us โ€“ weโ€™re so glad we could be a part of this fun and educational experience! ๐Ÿซโœจ

๐ŸŽ„๐ŸŽ… Weโ€™re thrilled to announce the final canine winner of our Twelve Pets of Christmas giveaway... meet the incredible Theo! ๐ŸŽ…๐ŸŽ„

Theo has faced quite a journey, especially over the past few months, undergoing multiple surgeries due to IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease), a condition thatโ€™s unfortunately common in Dachshunds. This painful condition occurs when the discs in the spine slip, bulge or degenerate, often causing pain, weakness, or paralysis. Due to their long bodies and short legs, Dachshunds are particularly at risk. ๐Ÿพ

Despite all the challenges, Theo has been nothing short of amazing in his recoveries! His strength and determination to bounce back have been truly inspiring and his devoted owners have been absolutely incredible, dedicating so much time and effort to his recovery. Theo has been in for hydrotherapy sessions with us to help on his road to recovery and can hopefully start again when he's a little more fighting fit. ๐Ÿ’ช๐ŸŽ–

It's truly heartwarming to see owners who go above and beyond for their pets, and it's clear that Theo is showered with love and support every step of the way. ๐Ÿฉต๐ŸŒŸ

Batcat may not be feeling his best lately as he's been through a lot with us due to IBD. Despite all the poking and podding, Batcat remains a true hero in our eyes. Heโ€™s been such a sweet and fluffy boy through it all, and we canโ€™t help but admire his warm nature.

We know Batcat can get anxious during his visits, but he always shows up with a loving spirit that melts our hearts. Heโ€™s a true testament to courage and kindness.

This beautiful boy has been facing some tough health challenges and his owner wasn't sure he would make it another festive season, but here Stanley is proving us all wrong, staying strong and as dashing as ever!

We are truly honoured to be part of Stanleyโ€™s journey being the fantastic seasoned Staffie that he is. Recently, Stanley came in for a check-up to monitor his bloods and blood pressure, and as always, he was an absolute champ, letting us do what we needed to do without any fuss.

Stanleyโ€™s strength and spirit are an inspiration, and weโ€™re so grateful for the moments we share with him. We are all so proud of you!! ๐Ÿพโœจ

We are a 100% Small Animal Veterinary Practice that opened in 2006. We are situated in the beautiful rural setting of Chalkpit Farm at Bekesbourne and have lots of easy parking. We have a separate Cat Only Clinic to make your cats visit to the vets as stress free as possible and a rehabilitation Clinic with a Hydrotherapy Treadmill. We are open 7 days days a week.
