Five years ago, in August 2019, I started my business with short walks with a lovely and very elderly Shih Tzu called Ciara, who was blind and deaf.

Since then the business has grown, with regular, long-standing and supportive customers who truly are such good people. I have been very lucky to have always had good customers since starting the business, so thanks to everyone who has used my services, past and present.

My oldest customers have now been with me for between four and five years,and my newest ones over three years. I still love my job, and really am so grateful for the relationships I have with both my dogs and human customers. It goes without saying that the dogs are fantastic too.🐶

I use leads to walk the dogs, and I was thinking the other day about how much trust it must take on their side. To put it into context, imagine being attached to a lead and walking around, having to trust someone with your safety and that they understand and can read how you are feeling and your needs, when you don't even speak the same language. It's a testament to how amazing dogs are. I always appreciate them so much, every day. They are amazing animals, as are many others who share their lives with us and entrust us with their care. I think it's always important to keep reading and learning about them too. I do my best to learn as much as I can about body language etc. It's also slightly different with each breed and dog, sometimes.

The latest book I have yet to read, but intend to start soon. Hopefully it's a good read and informative.🤞

Considering there is a little bit of a size difference between them, the girls are well matched when it comes to play fighting.😄 I was walking around the table as sometimes they chase me too, but they were too engrossed in their play today.🙂

# I am not a trainer and this is just play. 🐶 And now, with just the hand signals.😃 One thing I am probably guilty of is talking too much! I asked her to do a lot in this video with hand signals, probably one more trick than normal and looking at it, I also use that last hand signal to signal she can start playing with her puzzle at times, although the toy is normally on the floor first. Bless her, she is so clever.

I decided to see if the girls could play touch the correct object for a treat using my phone and a poo bag today. They knew which one was which. It's incredible the number of words they know. 🐶🤣😁
