We also added something new to our 2025 season with the leading horse/rider award over the 3 shows. It was won by Jon Fletcher with Princess HH Z with an unbeatable tally of points over the year. He took away the sash, rug and £200 prize, well done Jon!

Well that’s our 2025 season done and dusted and we’ve had 3 great shows. Well done to all competitors and thank you to all those who have supported us throughout the year, it’s very much appreciated.
A big thank you to our judges Kerrie Hart BAEDT Equine Dental Technician and Margaret Kendall, and to my co-organiser and course designer Neil Foster. Thanks also to Alan Clapperton from AC PHOTOGRAPHY who stands all day every day taking brilliant photos for people, please check his page out. Thank you to our first aiders Sally Waugh and Zabrina Thompson who have been fabulous all year.
The biggest thank you’s have to go to our amazing volunteers who have helped us tirelessly throughout the year…Janette Walker, Marina Sewell, Stephen Walker, Amy Oliver, Kelly Smith and Freda, Adele Anderson, Julie Foster, Karl Bowman and Josh Fearnley.
Also Peter Bainbridge for the use of his jumps and assistance…we couldn’t do it without you all! And to everyone else who has kindly volunteered at ours shows this year, thank you.

We’ll be spending the winter planning our 2026 shows and dates for those will follow in due course.

A NOTE TO ALL COMPETITORS:
There is NO ACCESS to Greenlands from J42 at the moment, the easiest route is to come off at Southwaite services.
From the North: Drive through the services and take the service road just before you would come back on to the motorway, it says no entry but you can drive down it. At the end of the road turn right to come back under the motorway bridge, at the top of the hill turn right again and follow the road to Greenlands.
From the South: Take the service road where the old police hut is, turn right at the end of it and follow the road to Greenlands.

Entries for our final show of the year close this week! Friday’s training day entries close on Wednesday evening and the weekends classes close on Thursday evening.

PLEASE NOTE: you MUST either be BS registered or competing on a ticket to compete in all classes over the weekend, including the training and clear round classes as they are under BS rules.

Please also note that there is NO ACCESS to Greenland’s from J42 of the M6. The most direct route from North and South is to come off at Southwaite services and use the service road on either side.

We are a bit short staffed for our show next weekend so if anyone can spare a few hrs to help over the weekend it would be much appreciated. Please let me know if you’re available.

Entries for our final show of the year on the 8-10th August are open! Entries can be made via Horse Monkey under Area 14, we have our usual excellent prize money with classes from clear round up to 1.30-1.40m handicap.
We also have our leading horse/rider award for 2025 which is currently being led by Jon Fletcher, with Alex McHattie just one point behind.
