🐾 DOUGIE would like to help me show my appreciation in today’s post( isn’t he handsome )🐾 🥰 .

Back at the start of 2023 a lady called Maggie from Surrey sent me a lovely email asking if I would consider Mentoring her and advise her on becoming a breeder of her her beloved ( American Cocker Spaniels ) . At first I thanked her for asking me but explained living so far away I wouldn’t be the best choice for her but she insisted we could make it work !
Well fast forward to 4 months ago when she rang me to ask if I would mind if she thanked me with this nomination and on she went . I didn’t think at the time of the cost involved to her getting me this lovely award package but I wouldn’t take payment for my time given to her so this was her way of giving me something back in a way of a thank you I can keep forever. Maggie Is well on her way to being ready for the practical side of things which sadly I can’t help with due to distance so that’s been handed over to another fellow breeder . You know feeling appreciated is one of the best feelings in the world 🥰.

The relief of this post if huge 🐻‍❄️. After 15 months since I delivered Cory into the world I can finally say she will be able to be part of our future team . Last week she went to have her X-rays taken to check her hips and elbows where in good health and the news we wanted arrived in an email a few days later . Our last Puzzle AKA cosmati update from Sykehead 🥰 After 10 weeks of loving her she was collected this morning at 8:30 to begin her new venture of hopefully becoming a children’s Therapy dog showing them being different but perfect at the same time is ok .
