So today I washed the girls Anaconda 🐍& Giant Snuffle Ball,
⚽️
Now usually I would place Snuffle Puzzles 🧩 within a wash bag or pillow case for a little added extra protection during a cycle
But…..
These are way too big to do that!
So here’s your wash guide🤗
🫧Place on the lowest spin & lowest temp (mine was 30°c and 600 spin)
🫧minimal detergent as this can overpower the smell of treats and no softener as this will just bobble the fleece like hell🔥
🫧Once the cycle has finished, unfold any circles or pleats within the balls and snakes to keep them looking new and also remaining a challenge! Impawtent! 🐾
🫧Then simply leave to air dry

Never …. Will I ever refer to enrichment puzzles at “toys” 😬
Why you may ask?
🧩A snuffle puzzle is not a toy for dogs because it is designed to be a mentally stimulating activity rather than an everyday toy for physical play. Snuffle puzzles are typically used to engage a dog’s sense of smell and encourage them to use their problem-solving skills which involve hiding treats or food in compartments or hiding spots, which the dog has to sniff out and uncover. It is a great way to provide mental stimulation and enrichment for dogs and then once finished advise is given to place away out of sight to ensure longevity, and temptation to play with like their other toys, in doing so is a whole new experience for your dog to enjoy when the snuffle puzzle does re emerge,
I can see how it can be so easily mistaken when businesses do refer to snuffle puzzles as toys…. But then also becomes very confusing when the disclaimer states this is not a toy 🤔
😵💫 Pet peeve released lol 😅 My face is exactly like the pooches when I see it said though 😆😆😆
