💡💡💡LETS TALK LIGHTS💡💡💡

Now the nights are drawing in🌚
You may want to come to the centre when it’s dark. If you don’t feel safe walking the streets in the dark then come to a safe environment and out of the cold weather in a nice indoor environment. However the floodlights as you can imagine lighting up such a big area do cost a lot of money. If you require lights the additional costs are as follows

£3 for 20 minute blast
£5 for 45 mins to 1hr
2hrs is £10 and so on.
These prices only apply if you want to come after dark and need the lights inside.

Please if you need lights ask in advance so we can show you where they are, please do NOT go around flicking all the switches switching all lights on you can see as we have had the equestrian centre lit up like Blackpool illuminations including both car parks, outdoor arena, indoor arena and toilet area, cafe, and viewing gallery and left on all night as people have switched lights on and left on! I’m sure you can appreciate when we only charge £7 for a quick blast and lights were left on everywhere for 16hrs before we noticed this is not something we can withstand. I don’t plan on putting the prices up on the Dog Run & play centre sessions but please respect the facilities by picking up your dog mess and removing any litter into bins provided and if you need lights ask in advance.

WARNING DISTRESSING CONTENT

I always say you can judge a character by how they treat animals & the elderly in their most vulnerable state. Both dependant, Vulnerable and Neither can stand up for themselves. So when a certain someone in the Name of Fred F on Eaves lane, Cheadle whom lets of the worst fireworks in his back garden literally a few meters from the equestrian centre, the horses fields and stables where they should feel most safe every year with not a care in the world to what animals he is traumatising to the point of them aborting foals at 7 months gestation (we’ve had 2 mares abort the day after his firework display in his poxy garden) then we know what sort of person this is and yes we can judge this character. Not like this makes any difference at all but these fireworks are not just a few sparklers they are purposely huge bangers and the ones that fizzle and then bang. He knows it is illegal he does not care, he knows the damage it causes to the animals he does not care (thankfully he doesn’t own a pet which says a lot!) and his house was built AFTER the equestrian centre. When we moved to the centre he never even told us he did fireworks he just let them off and our horses were in the field directly by his garden as we were not told & his rockets landed in our field. Had these of landed on the horses backs with the rugs on it would of set them alight but again he didn’t care. We make all measures we can with radios and moving the horses as far out of the way as possible but the fact is we are meters away and it isn’t possible moving a huge number of horses from their home and place of safety for one selfish person. This is why I support the ban on fireworks! Because unfortunately there are people like Mr Farmer that cause unnecessary suffering. Explosives should not be sold to children! You want to see fireworks go to a organised Event!

Well it was certainly cockapoo madness today. We had a very special Birthday pawty. It went down a treat! There was very happy doggies at the centre and very tired doggies at home which is what we like to hear.

The centre is getting ready for a pawsome pawty tomorrow morning. My lovely friend Amanda has chosen my centre to hold her Cockapoo pawty.

YOU DONT NEED TO SURVIVE STORM BABET🌪️💦

Storm babet has bared down on us and is causing havoc. You don’t need to worry though you can still exercise your furry friend and have fun at the same time at the dog run & play centre. We have a huuuuge indoor facility made up of soft fibre & sand. No muddy paws, No wet dog, no bathing and you stay dry. You can literally pull your car up to the doors and step inside. You can even have a seat in the viewing gallery while your pooch has a max 45 minutes run round all for just only £10!!
If you want to come at night and require lights there is a additional charge.

This has come all the way from America…No experience needed just a inquisitive doggy who wants to have fun and if you and your doggy want to get out the rain and try something brand new come give it a go.

Thankyou for being patient for the lack of availability over the weekend we have a big event going on called barn hunt uk. Simulated ratting basically which has gone down a treat. Appointments will be available from Monday. Anyone interested in giving this a go pop up and speak to the team here I’m sure they will be able to slot you in. Great fun & very stimulating with a friendly atmosphere.

It may seem I’m moaning quite a bit on here but….

When a customer finds (and not for the first time or the hundredth May I add) poo bags on the arena floor (and everywhere else around the place) then of course I’m going to. There is bins and skips pretty much everywhere….It’s simple pick your mess up in a poo bag place in the multiple skips and bins provided and if you cannot do this please book somewhere else as the arena has cost many many thousands of pounds to replace the surface is £40,000 so please be considerate or I’ll have to close the dog run & play centre to everyone which would be a shame!

SAVE THE DATES PLEASE

The centre is going to be very busy coming up with some special events taking place so there will be some lack of availability to hire the centre.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday Evenings from 6pm Every week is dog agility classes with Lorraine Walchester and Wednesday evenings is all to play for dog training. This does NOT DISRUPT booking the arena on any of these days up to 6pm!!

23rd September is the Jo Titterton dressage & equipilaties Event which is SOLD OUT. The arena will not be available on this day.

29th September the arena will be available up until 4pm only for the set up of BARN HUNT UK!

30th & 1st September ARENA FULLY BOOKED for BARN HUNT UK

15th October the arena will be FULLY BOOKED as its show day at the centre!!!

The booking calendar has been updated so carry on booking as usual all the dates & times on there are Available.

9/6/2023 9AM heat health alert!!! 3 TOP TIPS FOR HELPING YOUR DOGGIES THIS SUMMER☀️☀️🔥🔥🔥🐶🐶🐶☀️☀️

We all love the amazing summer and sun and a lot of us love to take our doggies on a long sunny walk BUT hundreds of doggies die every year of heat related issues in the uk.

Please do not walk your doggies in the heat. If you have to walk please do so early morning or in the evening OR don’t forget use the centre. It’s a indoor facility, We will provide a cooling paddling pool and you can come at any time without risking the sun beating down over heating your doggy or burning their little paddlers🐾🐾.

Some tips to keeping your doggies safe this summer when the heat is at its highest.

1 ✔️Provide plenty of clean cool water. Water heats up quickly providing hot water so change it regular and add some ice cubes. Always have cold water available

2✔️keep walking at sensible times not when the sun is at its hottest. Try early morning walks or evenings or if you cannot make them times book the centre where it is undercover out of the sun and no hot pavements to burn paddlers😩🐾🐾

3✔️ if you have a doggy prone to struggling in the heat like flat faced breeds (bulldogs ect) and the old or very young puppies or over weight and they start to struggle immediately get them out of the heat/sun somewhere with shade & provide them with a cooling mat to lay on OR you can give them a cold wet towel to lay on and a fan in front of them. Remember to keep wetting the towel down with cold water as their body temperature can warm it up quick.

Well how exciting 🎊

Finally consistent summer sun. However don’t forget your 🐶little 🐾🐾 when your thinking of walking. With highs of 20o it maybe a tad to 🔥 for the walks outside & those 🐾🐾on the pavements. If that’s the case why not come to the centre. All indoor, Out of the sun, no burning hot surface just cool sand and squashy fibre to step on. Plenty of water and this week we will even provide a doggy pool as well free of charge🫶🏻

🎊🐾PUT SPRING BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY 29TH IN YOUR DIARY EVERYONE PUPPY PLAY DATE🐾🐶💛

Who would be interested in a hour of fun for your doggies. Those that are not reactive and who just want to have a good time and meet other doggies and people and have a real ⚽️.

I’m thinking about doing on Monday the 29th doing a hour long puppy play date. Don’t worry though your Pooch doesn’t have to be a puppy just love to spend time with other 🐶🐶and have a great time and a run around with others.

15 spaces available first come first serve for 15 🐶. There will be a possibility I will open up another 15 spaces at a different time if the first 15 get booked up.

So here’s the details £10 per dog (£5 for each additional dog if you bring more than one of your own)

🐶The first session is 1pm & available to 15 🐶 of any age. Just responsible owners please who know their 🐶🐶are dog & other people friendly and who just want to have fun. 🐶

This is just some of the maintaining that goes into keeping the centre as it is in and surface in the condition it is for happy doggies.

Almost 2hrs of Arena levelling, Bowsering to wet the sand to activate the wax and then finally the rotavator to mix the fibre and sand and wax all together.

At least my 🐶🐶get to enjoy and get to be exercised.

So please please respect the space given and please pick up after your doggies. Thankyou.
