Hi everyone, ARU Writtle dog grooming department are in need of dogs with a particular coat type in order for our students to complete their exams. They cannot complete their assessments without the generous help of people like you and your beloved dogs.

The students have to groom dogs with different coat types to show breadth of knowledge and skill in all areas of grooming. Can you help? Do you know anyone with the following breeds?
Lhaso Apso
Shihtzu
Maltese Terrier
Yorkshire Terrier
Tibetan Terrier

We are looking for breeds that have a naturally straight or slightly wavy coat. These dogs will have a FREE groom by our students if they are used for assessments, but they must be suitable assessment dogs. Do your dog/s fit the following criteria?
• Fit and healthy
• A reasonably thick coat
• Coat must be in good condition with no matting
• Naturally straight or slightly wavy coat
• Available to drop off at 8.45am in Writtle - Collection will be at 12.45

We need specific breeds of dogs with a specific styling criteria in order to help our students complete their end of year practical assessments.

Dogs Needed:

BORDER TERRIERS
We are looking for border terriers that are handstripped ! Anyone booking a dog in for February will recieve there Handstrip for Free!

BREED STANDARD!
This style is the traditional style of the selected breed that should resemble the breed if it were to be styled correctly for example not just clipping short.

We are looking for Cocker Spaniels, Westies, Schnauzers and Pure Bred Bichons but these must be styled under the breed standard guidelines and not just shaved off.
