Hi all,

I’m putting an order in for some doggy colognes, so please let me know if you would like me to get you any. They are £9 each for a 100ml bottle.

Groom Professional is my go to, trusted product as all their products are nourishing, contain no harsh chemicals and smell amazing.

You have no idea how long this has taken me to write. I just couldn’t find the right way to say things so I do apologise in advance! 🤣

As most of you are aware, I’ve had a few weeks off due to many reasons and in that time have done a lot of thinking and discussing things with my family.

We have another business which is amazingly busy and I’m very grateful for, and we have an 18 month old who is very (quite rightly) demanding of my time at the moment. I’ve been finding with all of this, and running Bubble and Bone, it’s been quite challenging on various aspects of life. So with this in mind, I’m going to be pausing the business for a few months.

I hate to let people down so have spent most of my “thinking” time worrying about that, but I also don’t want to lead anyone on and I need to be honest about where I’m at. I’m going to take a few months to see how things go and re-evaluate the situation then. If in that time you find that your alternative grooming arrangements suit you/your dog better, and they are happy, then please don’t feel obliged to come back, I don’t want to cause uncertainty in any one. Obviously I would love to see you again though. I think about every one of my dogs regularly and miss them, which makes this so hard, but I can’t continue burning the candle at both ends as my mum used to say 😂

I’m still going to be seeing a couple of family and friends dogs every now and again, so all my equipment will stay put, and it’ll keep my skills where they need to be, just to reiterate the point I’m not closing down.

I really hope you understand and I can’t thank everyone enough for your lovely messages of support recently. I’ve made some lovely friends and it means the world to me.

To all my customers who LOVE the smell of the baby powder scent, and often say “I wish my house smelt of this” well now you can have it!!! 😀😀😀😆😆 Scent sisters have created a baby powder wax melt.. and if it’s anything like their others then it will be amazing!!

Evening guys

There is no update as of yet regarding grooms that do not fall under the welfare category eg baths and non essential grooms. The government website and the British Isles Grooming Association website have not been updated, so I believe this will not change until we see lockdown ease for non essential retail on the 12th April. Obviously I am checking this regularly, so if it changes I will of course update you.

I can continue to see dogs for grooming that is required for their welfare, but if it can be delayed, either by my knowledge of your dogs coat, or by your inspection, then I will contact you and I please ask you to contact me to discuss.

I have had a few customers that were postponed early on in the year, but are now at the stage where they need to be seen, which may result in me needing to postpone other appointments.

I’m doing my absolute best to get every dog in and seen when its necessary for them to be seen, but this does now mean that appointment wait times for any appointments not already in my diary will be quite long.

I hope you understand, it’s a really difficult time for everyone, and especially for someone like me who hates letting people down 😢

If your dog is in a welfare situation, or needs grooming ASAP to prevent them getting to that situation, then I please urge you to book in with another groomer if I do not have the availability. Your loyalty means the world to me, but your dog comes first ❤️❤️❤️ I have some lovely colleagues and would be happy to help you!

Guys this is quite a vague ask, so apologies for that but please keep an eye on your dogs on walks - what they eat, sniff, other dogs they lick etc. Teddy has been really unwell the last couple of days, being sick and diarrhoea. He got worse during the night and Paul took him to the emergency vet. He was severely dehydrated and in a lot of pain. He has blood in his diarrhoea due to a very inflamed stomach. He’s had lots of tests but it seems like it’s a stomach bug. I’ve heard a lot of dogs coming down with this, who have been hit hard. It’s obviously really hard to control what your dog does but just watch out for any symptoms. Hopefully he’ll be ok, but he’s not coming home anytime today 😢♥️
