Busy week getting our coaching bits up To date. Child protection for Pippa , First Aid for Hayley and an educational The British Horse Society day at BCA Equine Shows and Events today for us both.

Being a good coach means being dedicated to your own improvement and knowledge which all BHS coaches are to stay registered as Accredited Professional Coaches .

Please could everyone send healing vibes please.
Garfield aka Boggy has not been right for sometime. In fact since feb 2020. But 95% of the time was totally sound. It was far more a performance thing.
Anyway after seeing the vet four times and seeing chiropractors and phsios.
We eventually take him down to Bell Equine Veterinary Clinic. Laura Fitzharris must have thought I was mad, but she listened and looked and after scanning his stifle diagnosed a strain in him middle ligament that goes over his patala.
The prognosis is bad. But we are going to do everthing we can. So tomorrow he is back down at Bell to have PRP Treatment.
So can everyone cross their fingers and toes and pray to every horsey god there is and wish little boggy a full recovery please.
Thank you heres a picture of him doing what he likes best lets hope he will be allowed to continue 😔

💪🥇🥇🥇 BAREFOOTERS take GOLD in the team showjumping at the OLYMPICS! COME ON 💪

**BREAKING NEWS!!** Yep you heard it, Swedish 🇸🇪 barefoot horses are TOP OF THE WORLD, taking GOLD to beat the USA in a breathtaking jump off for the top position.

👉 No more will the world say that barefoot horses cannot compete at the highest level!

👉No more will the world say “well it’s not gold is it”… because IT IS!!

GOLD🥇 GOLD 🥇 GOLD 🥇

🥇Peder Fredricson riding H&M All In - BAREFOOT - rode an incredible final round, he had to go clear and he had to ride faster than the US - and the two of them did it!

🥇 Henrik Von Eckermann riding King Edward - BAREFOOT - went first, stayed composed and did a blinding round completely clear - he didn't knock down one fence in the entire competition!!!

Even though we are celebrating the barefoot achievement here, it is a team event and we have to also congratulate their other awesome team rider, Malin, who with her horse really jumped their hearts out!👇

🥇Malin Baryard-Johnsson riding Indiana - SHOD - had to go clear...and fast... and they did! Fantastic round!

SO YES BAREFOOT PIONEERS WINNING GOLD AT THE OLYMPICS - THEY DID IT! 🙌

All 3 riders not only went clear and fast - but they were the most consistent riders in the whole competition - only knocking down 2 fences in the final stages.

👉BOTH the barefoot horses were previously SHOD and were transitioned to barefoot.

H&M All In - who took SILVER in the individual showjumping, is now being recognised as probably the BEST all round showjumper IN THE WORLD…

….and he is BAREFOOT! 💪

King Edward - didn’t drop ONE POLE in the entire competition - an incredible horse! 🙌

… THAT HAS NEVER BEEN TRUE…

… and now these amazing horses and riders HAVE PROVED IT TO THE WORLD!!🙌🌎

So come on EQUINE world… stop believing that horses need metal nailed to their feet to be the TOP COMPETITORS ON THIS PLANET!

“I am a 24-year-old amateur rider based in the Southeast of England. I have ridden since the age of 8. My mum is a BHS qualified riding instructor, so horses are in the blood. I had an amazing pony as a child who came to us as an unbroken 3-year-old when I was 10 and took me to Elementary with much success along the way.

I currently ride two very special horses, 15-year-old Phoebus HS who is now semi-retired and 8-year-old Wares Garfield known as Boggy at home. Phoebus is my horse of a lifetime who I’ve owned for nearly 9 years I have produced myself to Medium. We now enjoy hacking through the Kent Countryside and he is the best nanny for younger horses. I compete for BD with Boggy currently at Novice level. Phoebus’ career highlight was competing in the Elite Class at the Pony Club Championship. While Boggy competing in the Open Novice Class was a major moment for our partnership. I have competed at the Pony Club Championship over 6 times on 4 different home-produced horses which is my own career highlights. We bought Boggy as a scruffy unbroken 2/3 year old of a Facebook advert so watching him mature competition pony has been a fantastic journey.

For various reasons I haven’t been able to compete at the level I would like for a few years so I have really concentrated on my own riding. As such my current aim for 2021 is to sit the Pony Club A Test/BHS Stage 4 which I have been training for since early in 2020. I currently hold the BHS Stage 3, Pony Club AH and the Young Horse and Lunge sections of the Pony Club A test.”

Time for a review. My Konig riding boots. Bought for me 4 years ago. These boots t**e a bit of breaking in, but oh boy have they been worth it. They look, if thats possible better today than the day they were bought. What do you think
