Following on from our post about overweight pets and using our nurse clinics to help guide you to the correct diet and amount of food for your pet, meet Max! He may not look massively overweight in his before pictures but he was on the chunkier side for his breed.

Obesity is a serious problem in pets, as it makes them more predisposed to a variety of health issues, such as diabetes, arthritis, heart and respiratory disease, and certain types of cancer. Being overweight can reduce your pet’s life expectancy! If you think that your dog, cat or bunny might have a weight problem, you can make an appointment for a weight clinic, and one of our dedicated nurses will come up with a tailored diet plan and lots of good advice to help your pet lose those extra pounds!
