They waited all day for the temperature to drop - it was the perfect temperature- heaven 🤎🩶🤍

Here is a glimpse of what we do in hot weather. Sniffy Woodland Walks are perfect because they avoid over exertion by slowing the pace down - we do sometimes scatter feed we hide treats in trees and holes in walls and this provides mental stimulation - approx 15 minutes of sniffing is the equivalent of an hours exercise - if you don’t believe me wait until they get home 💤. Walking through is great as they provide shade but it is often a couple of degrees cooler as well. We also have Cooling Vests if necessary and obviously access to fresh drinking water. We have changed our walk times due to the hot weather and we will not be walking after midday today.

Well it’s been a tough week, in fact June has not been my month - bring on July!!! I thought I’d pop on and tell@you a bit about our Goodie Bag Pop Up whilst wandering through the gorgeous 20 acre field in the Coberley valley that we have access to. Be kind - this was my first ever video and I think it’s fair to say I am not a natural 😂. I did consider a prize for the person who guessed just how many million time I said Um 😆.

So today I was busy filming these guys being fabulous and I was as totally oblivious to the couple behind me walking their spaniel!! You’ll see that the dog spot them but do bring their attention back to me & don’t move …well apart from Ned who is obsessed with the grass 💚 The lady with the spaniel commented she was impressed….so was ai 🤍🐶

I’ve got a busy day ahead so I thought I’d treat my two to an alfresco woodland breakfast this morning. These two have been snuffling for nearly 40 minutes which will leave me with two very calm and content pups 🤍🐶
