2 x half non-slip tunnels;
1 x 5 meter
1 x 4 meter SOLD.
(5 meter has some damage on end but easily fixed with gaffa tape or covered by sand bags. £20 each

Wooden jump wings, have been redrilled to correct heights £10 a pair (no poles ). SOLD

All above has been well used but would be ok for garden use etc.

There are also some wooden stick in the ground , weave poles. free to a good home & also some short jump poles also FOC.

Barn users, please remember to rake around weaves, tunnel entrances & heavily used areas as well as leaving a useable course up at the end of your session.

Please leave the barn how you would hope to find it 🙏🙏

Dear all, we are currently trying to extend & improve the parking in front of field 2. With the lack of grass due to the drought followed by so much rain, the grass parking area there became unusable last week.

If there is not sufficient parking on the hard standing outside the barn then you may have to use field 1 parking & walk across to field 2 as we used to.

You can also park through the top gate (barn end) as long as you don’t block the track or field gates. Please be aware however, you CANT walk in the big field through there OR OVER THE BRIDGE.

Please park sensibly to help with the situation.

***UPDATE, GOLDEN GROVE END IS NOW OPEN Despite the signs saying its closed***

****IMPORTANT ROAD CLOSURE INFORMATION ****


Please be aware of the following roadworks:

Ruxbury Road (outside the Golden Grove pub) is CURRENTLY closed, with no access to St Ann’s Hill Road.

Almners Road is scheduled to be closed tomorrow (Wednesday 3rd Sep) between 9:30am and 3:30pm. Although this may only be temporary traffic lights.

At this stage, it’s unclear whether Ruxbury Road will reopen before tomorrow. If it remains closed, there will be no access in or out of the farm during the Almners Road closure.

If you are coming to Ruxbury Farm in the next few days, please allow more time for travel & it may be wise to check Surrey County Council website beforehand.

There are still a few places available on these, great opportunity to train with another fabulous trainer who is new to us but certainly not new to agility!

I have secured a number of dates for Sunday workshops with the lovely Daniel Croxford in the barn 😀

Groups will be 2 hours & a maximum of 6 handlers. £45 members, £48 non-members.
10-12 G1/2 (including YD),
12.15-2.15 G3-5
2.45-4.45 G6-7.

Please ensure you have read the rules BEFORE you book as these are different to our other areas. 😀

Agility Barn Rules (IMPORTANT, please read)

Only 1 dog in the arena at a time, if training multiple dogs or in a class/group, ALL other dogs must wait (secured on lead or crated) in the walkway or outside.

Dogs must not be allowed to run free in the arena other than when negotiating the course. Between runs, whilst course walking/building etc dogs must be on lead or crated in walkway or outside.

No fouling in the arena, please ensure your dog has had time to use the toileting area BEFORE coming into the arena. Any accidents MUST be immediately cleared & disinfected. (Persistent offenders will not be welcome back).

No muddy shoes/boots to be worn in the arena.

Nothing is to be stuck or pegged into the arena surface due to the membrane underneath. Equally, dogs must not be allowed to dig.

At the end of your session please;
1. Rake heavily used areas such as weaves & tunnel entrances.
2. Ensure that a safe, useable course (including contacts) is left up for the next user.
3. Put all poles back on wings & spare cups put into the basket.
4. Stack any unused equipment safely to the side.
5. Switch off the lights, if you have used them.
6. Ensure the arena gates are closed.
7. Clear any rubbish, toys, treat packets, drink cans, cups etc.
8. Please stick to your allotted time & ensure that you have left the area within your booking time.

The toilets outside the barn are now fully functional😀

The portacabin is also now open as a tea/coffee room 😀

There is now another dog toileting/exercise area behind the barn, just follow the pathway down the side of the barn to access 😀

Just a reminder that we are going ahead with our open day next Monday 25th (bank holiday) from 10.30 -2.30.

You don’t have to stay for the whole time, drop in & out as you please, but we are doing the official barn opening at about 11am

There will be a course up in both the barn & field 2 for people to use & some refreshments.

Everyone is welcome, including non-members & there is no charge for the day.

Hopefully a few of you can come along 😀

We are having an Agility Venue Open Day from 10.30am - 2.30pm.

You are all welcome to come along, see the venue & celebrate the opening of our new arena! 🥳🥳

Entry is free & there will be a course up in the barn for you to run (for those that already do agility).🏃‍♀️

Refreshments available 😀

If you are a newbie that is thinking about starting agility, you are also welcome to come along, see what agility is all about as well as meeting us, our members & some of our trainers 😀

Numbers will be limited however so please do let me know if you plan to attend (you can drop in at any time between our opening hours) 😀
