With an extremely heavy heart we had to say goodbye to one of our longest serving pony's "Spiderman" aka "Spod"
As you all know it's one of the hardest decisions to make but when you know the time is right it's only fair that you let them go with dignity.....he was so special to so many and I know he will be missed by all of us here at KRC, we cant thank you enough spod for all your service over the years and for giving so much of your love to us ........fly high spiderman and grow your wings ❤️

Sadly the beautiful boy Spider-Man gained his wings 💔

What a lovely gentle little pony he was, he not only taught so many young people at KRC but also with us over the past 2 years.
We’re so grateful to have been able to use Spidey for our sessions and we’re so sad to have received the news of his passing.

This is such a huge loss for us and all of our members that loved and cared for him so dearly.

Our love, thoughts and respects go to for making such a difficult decision 🤍

A huge Happy Birthday to our lovely 🥳

Lucy was one of our very first members when we started up back in 2021 & has entrusted us with all 3 of her lovely daughters over the past 2 years. One being our very special Grace, Little G, Spider-G 🫶🏼

For the past 2 years Lucy has been one of THE most supportive members we have, not only just volunteering her time & getting her girls to volunteer for us. But also she has been an amazing sharer & taking care of our very loved big orange Chester 🧡

You mean so much to us Lucy, we hope you have an amazing birthday & are blessed with many more years to come!

We love you! 🤍🤍🤍

This morning the UEA team received extremely heart breaking news from our partners at 💔

Our sweet, beautiful, gentle giant Lily gained her wings 🤎

We at UEA have been so lucky to have access to sweet Lily. Myself , & have had the honour to work with Lily combined for 10+ years & it has been an absolute pleasure! ✨

Our thoughts & prayers go out to the whole of the team for their loss & the extremely hard decision they had to make to ensure Lilys quality of life! 🤎

Toxicity in the horse world. Let’s discuss.

How many barns, trainers or shows have you been to where you’ve seen or experienced truly toxic behavior?

Signs of toxic behavior can include exclusivity, racist or sexist remarks, sexual harassment, manipulation, aggression and so many more. These are all still apparent and seen in the horse industry every day.

Why do we sometimes stick around when things get toxic? Think of a time where you felt belittled or degraded from someone, and you stuck with it. Why did you? Because of the love of the horse? Or did you actually leave because of it?

How do we put a stop to these toxic behaviors and toxic environments? It might mean leaving your toxic barn, moving on from a negative trainer or knowing when to stand up for what’s right.

It’s also important to be able to discern between behavior you simply don’t like or enjoy, versus truly harmful behavior or scenarios. Either way, it is always acceptable to have a conversation with that person, or look for support on how to leave that situation or ask the person to leave your barn (if you’re the trainer). If someone is bringing down the morale of the environment, or truly causing harm, it can cause a ripple effect to the people and horses around them.

Everyone has a place in this sport, and we need to continue to push for a better horse world. We’d love to hear stories where you have helped to encourage a better horse world, or left a toxic situation for the better. Feel free to comment below or reach out to us and let us know!

We’re hoping to grow further to enable us to do more WITH and FOR the London community! ✨

In almost 2 years we have ran 1-2 session during every school break each time gaining more and more UEA family!

Our UEA team of volunteers and regular members is huge, we hope to develop more on what we can offer for our them all. 🤞🏼

We will be looking to get our own horses/ponies when feasible, as well as eventually we will be looking for our own stable facility as close as we can to London.

If you think you can help us in any way whether that be advise or suggestions, financial contribution, equine donations etc please do give us a shout 🫶🏼
