On top of all our recent wine show results we have just heard that our 2018 Riverby Estate Dry Riesling was one of only two NZ Gold Medals at the 2019 Canberra International Riesling Challenge. This is the first time we have entered this wine show, which attracts entries from all around the world and is probably the only event dedicated exclusively to Riesling in the world. Only the very best wines win gold at this show, so to do well there is a great achievement. Incidentally the other NZ gold went to Domain Road who produce very fine Rieslings in Central Otago.
