Ending the week with a little bit of pride 🙏🐶
Over the months I’ve met a few badly matted dogs along the way and whilst I’m never here to lecture, it upsets me when I have no other choice but to shave them short.
Yes I parp on about teamwork, but just look at the results, 8 weeks ago this adorable little girl was shaved all over, with regular brushing Lily is nearly back to how she should be 💗💗

When I started this grooming journey I was filled with dread 🤦‍♀️, was I doing the right thing, would I be any good at it, so many thoughts ran through my head but all I knew is my son needed me and I wanted to work with dogs.
I still pinch myself that this is me and feel privileged to have met the most lovely people who I can now call friends.
Larissa thank you so much for your kindness today, I’m honestly blown away 💗
I absolutely love the bond I have with Rupert the Bear and think Riley approves too 🐾🥰

Couldn’t be more prouder of this little lady today. Luna, aka Anne Frank 🤣🤣 was heavily matted on her previous visit resulting in having to go short all over. 🤦‍♀️
Teamwork has definitely paid off and today lovely Luna was nearly matt free after being brushed at home.

What a little sweetheart she was 🐾💗

Desheds are so satisfying 💪, definitely one of my favourite things to do.

I was just thinking to myself I must be the luckiest Groomer in Chester, not only do I meet the most beautiful dogs, but theirs owners are pretty special too 🥰

Rosie first came to me months ago and had been shaved all over, she really is the most beautiful Cavapoo and with a little bit of guidance her wonderful Hooman took my advice and agreed to grow her coat.

It’s work in progress, but what a difference that fluffy coat makes, as you can see Rosie is so chilled and holds such a special place in my heart ♥️

See you soon little mate; don’t worry the treat jar will be full and sure Riley won’t mind you eating her dinner again 🤦‍♀️🤭💗🐾

Ruby has only been groomed once previously and didn’t enjoy her first experience; so I was expecting a bundle of nerves today. But no, this gorgeous girl was amazing, emptied the treat jar and think she would have stayed if she could.

After months of planning, Great Grooms of Chester is nearly ready and on target to open in early April, just needs a few finishing touches, scissors to arrive, booking system to go live and voila 🐶🐾 I’m still pinching myself every day that this is my happy place and I’m ready to open for baths, blows and nails, and full grooms will be available soon.
