For those that follow me you’ll know that Doris Day has become somewhat a thorn in my side; albeit a very beautiful one.🐾💗

This little old dear is like a wolf in disguise and is definitely one of the most challenging dogs I groom, it’s like she has a super power and totally will not allow you to go near her face and legs, she is possibly the most stubborn dog I know. 🤨

But the thing is, Dozzie holds a very special place in my heart and is living on borrowed time after a recent diagnosis of a liver tumour, so I’m not giving up on her now and whilst we may never get the perfect groom, spending time with her is an honour 🙏

Jo, thank you so much for the most beautiful hand made little Riley 🐶, I’ll treasure it always 🥰

Dozzie, keep going little Lady, you’ve definitely got the strength to fight this; but for as long as you’re here; then I’m here too and I’ll see you in March 🙏

My little Yettie was back today and grooming Jem definitely isn’t for the faint hearted. 💪

I’ve groomed Jem since she was tiny, but this gorgeous bundle of fluff just wants to lie down and sleep 🙄

10 Month old Jem grows so fast and can be prone to matting; so a good cut and regular brushing will keep her coat tangle free.

Thank you Linda for the lovely little present off your girls 🐶🐶, I definitely think I’ll be needing these now more than ever 🥶☃️🌨️

What a wonderful way to start the New Year and the first little paws to greet me was this totally beautiful Rescue, Baxter 💙💙

Baxter was rescued 8 weeks ago by the most lovely couple from a very sad situation, but goodness this gentle little boy was nothing short of perfect, not an ounce of fear, just patient, calm and the most lovable dog despite what he’d been through 😢

I can’t help but feel a tinge of sadness when I meet these fabulous dogs, but knowing they’ve found their forever homes with a new family makes it so worthwhile 💙🙏🐾

I’m back after the most lovely Christmas break, batteries are fully recharged and I really can’t say how much I missed these little paws that make me smile so much. 🐾🐾

Hello 👋

Happy Saturday Evening, hope you’re all staying warm in this freezing cold weather 🥶

I’m half way through replying to all my messages 💪, my diary will be firmly in hand and I’ll finish the rest tomorrow, so if you haven’t heard from me expect a message.

I’m off to take my Christmas Trees down, watch Casualty with my boys and really can’t wait to get some routine back on Monday. 🐾🐾

Just in case you’ve missed seeing cute pictures, I met this adorable little Guide Dog in Training recently and have to say 11 week old Toby absolutely melted my heart ❤️ 🐾
I’m honestly so honoured that I get to groom so many little paws in Great Grooms of Chester, but as everyone knows it’s not just puppies, I simply love them all 💙💗🐾🐾

I’m having some much needed family time before starting back on Monday 6th January 2025 🐾🐾

I’ve got lots of messages to reply to, and will sit down over the weekend and get back to you all, but a heartfelt thank you for being so patient. 🙏

If I haven’t replied over the holidays please don’t think I’ve forgotten you, I desperately just needed to switch off and recharge my batteries 🐾🐾

And that’s a wrap 🎄🎄🎄🎄

A heartfelt thank you for so so many gifts, I’m actually emotional thinking just how kind you’ve all been, not just to me, but gifts for my little boys and even Riley 💙💙🐶

This last few weeks have been physically challenging, long hours, back to back grooming and juggling being a single Mum, but I can say hand on heart that never have I felt more appreciated or supported and have made the most wonderful friendships along the way.

I don’t know what the future holds, but I can definitely say I’ve found my happy place, I don’t profess to be the worlds best groomer; but I put my heart and soul into what I do, with every dog treated with love and kindness.

I’m going to take some time off for a few days to enjoy Christmas with my family, I haven’t even wrapped a present and so much to do, so I won’t be replying to any messages just yet, but that doesn’t mean I’ve forgotten you 💗

So many people have sent their best wishes to my Dear Old Dad who was recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostrate cancer and I know he’s grateful that people are thinking of him 🙏🌟

Life is definitely full on at the moment; I’m running out of plates to spin 🤦‍♀️, but what I do know is that my heart is full and thank you all for believing in me.

Oh my, Milo, boys aren’t meant to be so pretty 💙

This little bundle of fun sadly broke his back leg recently and had bald spots from cannulas and his op, so blended his legs and give him a good tidy up ready for his very first Christmas 🎄, it was lovely to see this little eyes again 🐶🐾

Sitting here after another late night, too tired to cook so chippie tea and a large glass of wine, thank you Denise and Rick, I needed this tonight 🥂

Whilst these last few weeks have been incredibly busy, I’ve loved it 🙏, each and every day I’ve been completely overwhelmed by so much kindness, my kitchen is overrun with so many gifts; bottles; flowers chocolates, personalised gifts and endless sweets for Oliver and Oscar 💙💙

After months of planning, Great Grooms of Chester is nearly ready and on target to open in early April, just needs a few finishing touches, scissors to arrive, booking system to go live and voila 🐶🐾 I’m still pinching myself every day that this is my happy place and I’m ready to open for baths, blows and nails, and full grooms will be available soon.
