Many of you know that since I have had Dobby and then Ron, that I have done as much as I can to help various rescues by making dog coats etc. I have now got together with a group of remarkable like minded ladies who all want to be able to help as many rescues as possible, by doing what we do best, fundraising. It is Thankyou Thursday again and this week we would like to thank Dobbys Coats for donating 8 coats for our greyhounds and lurchers to wear when they come out fundraising with us. We are having our logo printed on the side so the public know exactly where our gorgeous dogs are from at a glance which really helps us at events. Thankyou so much! I am sure you will agree they are going to look very smart...and very cute!

The case of the missing jar of piccalilli. I bought a not cheap jar of home made Piccalilli at Growing at Field28 along with some of their sour dough loaves and a custard tart. Go to have some for tea and nope, can't find it. So did we leave it behind boys????

Today it is six years since Dobby turned up looking for food in my recycling boxes. He has made a HUGE difference in our and other people and dogs lives.
I have made new friends since Dobby entered our lives, friends who have become very important in our lives who if not for Dobby we would never have crossed paths.
Thank you Dobby. Thank you for showing us what unconditional love is. You might be an absolute tit with other dogs, but with people of all ages you are totally amazing.
He has saved numerous other dogs by being a blood donor, plus due to him I have turned my hand to making dog coats, which in turn has been a way of raising funds for dog rescues, he also visits schools and care homes and is an absolute star!!
So Happy GOTCHA day to our wonderful boy, and may we have many more!!

Today I have made two recycled coats from jeans. One is a whippet sized coat (black) the other is a lurcher sized one. These coats are being auctioned off at Lurcher Link Rescue fundraising page.
