I'm feeling incredibly appreciated and so grateful to have been given these by some wonderful customers last week 🥹 It means the world to receive such acts of kindness unexpectedly - thank you so much 💟

I have been moving house for a lot of the last week amongst work - so it is safe to say things have been beyond hectic and i don't think i've had a single moment to breathe! 😅 I am finally in my new home now though and getting unpacked and settled bit by bit 🏠

For those of you waiting on a reply to your messages from over the weekend, these will be replied to at some point today at my earliest opportunity so please bear with me 🥰

❗️THIS MATTERS TODAY MORE THAN EVER❗️

Temperatures reach highs of 31° today and this poses a HUGE risk to the wellbeing and LIFE of your dog if you were to walk in this. No dog ever died from a missed walk, but they WILL and HAVE died from heatstroke in a matter of MINUTES 🔥

It goes without saying that ALL walks today have been changed to home visits for those that require them - to provide a garden toilet break, fresh water top ups, and all the love and attention or indoor play time your dog could ask for in a shady spot 🐶

If anyone were to have ill feeling towards me refusing to walk their dog in 23°+ heat... i'm not the dog walker for you 👋

We don't choose to do this simply because we can't be bothered or feel like an afternoon off... we do it for the welfare of YOUR dog in OUR care ❗️

We also lose income when walks don't go ahead as originally scheduled. We wouldn't do this if we didn't truly care for the wellbeing of your dog 🐶

I for one am praying these temperatures drop again soon so we can resume a normal schedule and it makes our lives a whole lot easier (and more comfortable when walking all day!) 🤞

But until then, please bear with me whilst i try to navigate it as best as i can. As always, if walks cant go ahead earlier to accomodate, home visits will be provided instead. No dogs would simply be left unattended to and i will communicate any schedule changes to relevant owners as soon as they are decided by myself 🫶

I had some indoor enrichment time with little Smartie this afternoon... teasing some kibble out of her kong, amongst sniffing pieces out hidden around the house 👀

Mental stimulation is just as important for dogs as physical exercise! 🩶
