“”Bentley is our golden doodle he is one on 31st January 2025 we got him at 15 weeks old as a companion for Poppy and a play mate for Betty. However he was extremely timid. Since attending A&S dog training classes he has come on in leaps and bounds although still quite shy with humans he loves his puppy class pals. He loves going for walks playing ball especially on the beach.He has been selected to go to crufts to do his bronze good citizenship award on Saturday 8th March fingers crossed he can perform on the day and come away with a certificate”
Wishing you all a wonderful time at Crufts 2025. Hope you make lots of wonderful memories and take some pictures to share with us all.Angela and I will be at ring side on Saturday to give you lots of support.

New year, new family member? 💚
If you're about to go pick up the latest addition to your home, here's the absolute essentials you will need:

✅ A secure crate or dog carrier
✅ Cosy blankets (preferably some that smell like mum)
✅ Food and water for longer journeys
✅ Poo bags
✅ Cleaning products (for any accidents!)
✅ All of the correct paperwork from the breeder

The roads are open on Hady Hill the A632 passed the Royal Hospital and you can also get via Storforth Lane.
Please allow plenty of time. The Arkwright Centre will be open at 5.00pm.
Horns Bridge A617 bye pass is closed both ways. So please allow plenty of time.

With less than a week to go, it’s easy to get swept up in the holiday excitement! 🎄
But remember to keep your dog safe by watching out for these common Christmas hazards:

❌ Antifreeze & road salt – harmful if ingested.
❌ Poinsettias, holly & mistletoe – can be toxic if eaten.
❌ Potpourri – Can cause vomiting, diarrhoea, or choking.
❌ Christmas lights & small Decorations – choking and blockage hazards.
❌ Cooked bones – Can splinter easily and cause internal injuries.
❌ Chocolate & nuts – Toxic and can lead to serious health issues.
❌ Christmas pudding, mince pies & stollen – contain dried fruits like raisins, currants, and other toxic ingredients.

It was a great pleasure to take the cash into Ashgate Hospice Fundraising Centre this morning.
