Instead of buying cards and gifts for customers this year, we have donated to help this beautiful girl.

Willow is in need of an operation and £1000 needs to be raised for her, but sadly they’re nowhere near that target yet. Could you please donate to help her and be her Christmas miracle?

Willow, a 4-month-old Springer Spaniel, needs your help! 💔 She came to RSPCA Sheffield after suffering a broken elbow. Her owner couldn’t manage the intensive aftercare she needed, and sadly, euthanasia was considered. But thanks to the PDSA, we stepped in to give Willow a second chance.

Now, we’re raising £1,009 to cover her surgery and recovery costs, including pain relief, crate rest, and regular vet check-ups. Christmas is a time of giving, and your donation—no matter the amount—can help Willow get back on her paws and enjoy the bright future she deserves.

So sorry to see that small Chesterfield businesses are struggling in the run-up to Christmas. Especially those where the costs to create their masterpieces are ever increasing and they’re trying their best to keep costs to the customer down. Please support local when you can! NEWS: PD Kiki detains violent burglar

An experienced police dog has demonstrated how a violent burglar posed no challenge for her in the line on duty.

The powerful female policing duo of PD Kiki and PC Faye North-Gill attended the Co-Op on Richmond Road in Sheffield yesterday (3 January) at 10.30pm following reports of a burglary.

Upon arrival, a man matching the description was seen fleeing the scene and ran from officers along Hastilar Road.

PD Kiki immediately started tracking a scent and led PC North-Gill to a cul-de-sac close by and indicated at a large shrubbed area in front of some houses. A man was seen to be hiding in the bushes and PC North-Gill requested he come out and present himself.

District officers arrived to arrest the man, who then started to become violent, during which led to officers and the man on the floor as he attempted to escape.

Threatening with PD Kiki for his compliance, PC North-Gill used her partner who showed the suspect that violence will not be tolerated towards her colleagues by detaining the man’s thigh.

The man continued to attack officers and attempted to assault PD Kiki by kicking her with his other leg.

Officers called for back-up and the man, aged 41, was put into a police van and transported to custody after being arrested on suspicion of burglary. He was later treated for minor injuries and remains in police custody at this time.
