Dawn is one of my sponsor dogs. She has has an amazing year in the show ring. Dawn loves having her maintenence treatments which helps her to keep in top condition.

These wonderful dogs have joined me in the last couple of weeks to start their myotherapy treatments.
They have all taken well to myotherapy and I am looking forward to treating them and helping them feel more comfortable.
I love my Job spending my days with wonderful dogs and their owners and helping them live a more comfortable life x 🐾🐾

This is handsome Pedro. Pedro is a rescue from Cyprus.
When his owner spoke to me about trying him with myotherpay treatment she was abit worried that he would not let me treat him as he has always Been wary of being touched around his back end due to an old injury from when he was on the streets.

With galen myotherpay we always work at the dogs pace and they always have a choice on their treatment. We spend time gaining their trust and never rushing them with their treatment.

Pedro has been having regular treatments with me and at the start of his treatments he was wary of me treating his back legs and lumbar spine.I stated with working on his compensatory issues in his neck and shoulders to help release the tension in these areas.

The patience and trust building has worked so well and over the last couple of sessions Pedro has come straight to the treatment area and has laid down ready for his treatment even offering me his back. I am so proud of this boy for trusting me and letting me start treating his back and back legs. His owner has told me that she really didn't think this would happen and she is really happy with his progress. The stiffness in his hind legs has improved alot and the tension in his neck and shoulders has improved aswell x x🐾🐾

This morning Rufus had his galen myotherapy treatment and as you can see from the photo he really enjoys his treatments. Rufus is having treatment as he was showing discomfort and stiffness in his back and hind legs. Since having treatments his posture and movement has improved and now he is having maintenance treatments to keep his joints and muscles healthy

This afternoons Galen myotherapy treatments was all about mastiffs.

Shango on the right is having myotherapy treatments as she has spondylosis. Shango is now on maintenance treatments to keep her muscles and joints healthy and to treat the spondylosis.

Akiva in the middle is going to start having myotherapy treatments for muscle maintenance.

Verde on the left is having myotherapy treatments as she has pulled a ligament in her left hind leg.

I love my job spending time with all the lovely dogs that I treat and seeing the improvements Galen myotherapy makes 🐾🐾

This handsome boy is brodie he is nearly 11 years old and is having maintenance treatments as he was getting weaker on his back legs and tight in his back. He has taken well to his treatments and as you can see brodie likes to sit on my lap whilst having his myotherapy treatment bless him. His owner has seen that his movement and posture has improved since he has been having his treatments and he is able to do longer walks now🐾🐾 x

Teddy is living with his Foster parents and is doing amazing with all their training. Teddy is having myotherapy treatments because he has hip dysplasia and tight hamstrings,he also has tension in his lower back. Teddy had a ruff start in life but has settled well with his Foster family who are doing an amazing job. Teddy is unsure of people touching him so we were not sure if he would tolerate treatment. On the 1st treatment We spent time getting Teddy used to me we him for a little walk and gave him treats and then went back to the house to get him used to me being there. Wow what can I say he was a super star and even let me me give him a little massage around his shoulder which is a great progess. Follow on to the 2nd and 3rd treatment and Teddy let me do a full treatment on him. He has great communication and will just look round at me if he is not sure of some areas that I am touching and we move onto another area. This boy is so sweet and me and his Fosterers are so proud of how good he has been.

Look at these beautiful girls I treated today.

1st photo is Dolly.Dolly is having treatment as she has just been diagnosed with arthritis in both carpals. Dolly loves having her treatments and I look forward to helping her feel more comfortable x

2nd photo is Abbey. Abbey was having treatment as she damage her ligament in her front left shoulder but that has all healed now which is great. She is still having maintenence treatments to keep her joints and muscles healthy. As you can see from the photo abbey is really relaxed after her treatment x Nicki R Jones

This week I have had the pleasure of treating these gorgeous new dogs.

1st photo is Brodie. He has Arthritis and is having treatments to help with compensatory issues and to manage his pain. He was so excited and I got loads of kisses when I arrived. He settled well and really enjoyed his treatment. His owner told me he was really relaxed and slept well for a few hours after his treatment x

2nd photo is Lilly, Bella and Dolly. Lillly is having maintenence treatments for Bilateral luxating patella's. Dolly is having maintenance treatments for fly ball and Bella is having maintenance treatments to help keep her joints and muscles healthy. lilly loves her treatments and has decided I am only there to treat her and she dosnt wont to share me 🤣. Bella settled into the treatment and really enjoyed it. Dolly was a little bit nervous on her first treatment so decided she would rather just watch me treating the others for the first time. On the second treatment she done really well and decided she wanted to come over and have a small treatment which is great progress. I also got alot alot of kisses from them to they are so cute x

3rd photo is Bert. He has had 5 myotherapy treatments with me now so he is not new this week but we had such progress with him this week. When I started treating Bert I had to treat him in the garden as he is not great at being indoors with strangers. The weather was not on our side on Monday so we decided to try and do treatment in their log cabin. Wow what can I say he was such a good boy and really settled down into treatment this week even tho we were inside. I was so proud of him and the progress we have made in the last 5 treatments x

4th photo is Meg. She is having myotherapy
treatments as her owner has noticed she occasionally hops on her back legs and has tight back muscles. This was her first treatment with me and she settled well and really enjoyed it. Her owner said she slept well after her treatment and is doing well x

5th photo is Rudy he is having myotherapy treatment due to muscle atrophy and stiffness in his back legs due to having to be on steriods . He had his 1st treatment today and was so excited and I got more kisses. He settled well into his treatment and showed me what areas he would like me to treat by presenting me with that area but he was abit sore on his left hind leg so he let me know he didn't wont that area treated by moving that area away from me. The communication between a dog and their therapist is great and we always allow the dogs to choose what happens in their treatment so we can gain their trust and the dog is comfortable.

These are the gorgeous dog that had their treatments with me this week.

1st photo is Abbey. Abbey is having maintenance treatments to keep her muscles and joint healthy. She is doing so well that she has gone to maintenance treatments now.

2nd photo is Baxter. Baxter is having myotherapy as he has arthritis in his hind limbs and all 4 paws.It was baxters 1st treatment and he took to treatment well.This is the photo of baxter relaxing after his treatment.

3rd photo is Larry.Larry is having myotherapy treatments as he has arthritis in his hind limbs and he had compensatory issues which was affecting his postural. This was Larry's 3rd treatment and his owners had some great feedback. They said that Larry used to lay down at his bowl while eating and in the last week Larry is now standing up while eating his dinner. He has also stopped laying down on walks and his gait has improved which is great to hear. As you can see from his photo he is really enjoying his treatments and even falls asleep.

4th photo is Twister. Twister is having myotherapy as she had a partial tear on her cruciate ligament on right hind limb. She also has tight back muscles.This was her 2nd treatment and she is doing really well.

Here are the gorgeous dogs that had their myotherapy treatments with me over the weekend and Monday.
1st photo is Larry. Larry Is having myotherapy treatments due to Arthritis and compensatory issues. This was Larry's first treatment he done really well and took to treatment straight away.

2nd photo is Twister.Twister is having myotherapy maintenance treatments after a partial tear on her cruciate ligament on her right leg and compensatory issues. This was Twisters first treatment with me and she done really well and really enjoyed her treatment.

3rd photo is Reily. Reily is having treatment for ivdd. He also had bilateral tplo surgery on his hind limbs in 2022. Reily owner has noticed that reily has been in alot of pain the last month so has asked me to do myotherapy on him to help reduce his pain and help with his posture and mobility. This was his first treatment with me and he done really well and settled into his treatment. On occasions during his treatment he fell asleep and we could hear him snoring bless him.

4th photo is Patsy.Patsy is having myotherapy treatment as she had ivdd and had surgery in 2020. She was doing really well with rehab but a couple of months ago her gait changed, she started sitting down on walks,getting grumpy with the other dogs in the household and also growling if she was picked up by her owner. She went to the vets and they found she was having a flare up. Patsy has had 5 treatments with me know and her owner has told me she is not sitting down on her walks much now, she is not growling when she is picked up and she is alot better with the other dogs in the household . She also said that patsy is alot happier which is great to hear.

5th photo is Bailey.Bailey is having treatment for Arthritis in his hind limbs and spine. Bailey loves his treatments and he is doing so well. His posture and mobility has really improved and he is happier on his walks now.

6th photo is Shango.Shango. is having maintenance treatments for Spondylosis. She is doing well and as you can see from the photo shango loves having her myotherapy treatments.

Here are the gorgeous dogs I have treated in the last couple of days.

1st photo is Brian. He is having myotherapy treatment for Arthritis in his hind legs.he loves his treatments so much that he falls asleep while I am treating him.

2nd photo is maya who is Brian's sister. She is having myotherapy treatments as she has Arthritis in hindlimbs and left forlimb. Maya has taken to treatment really well and her owner says that the treatment has really help her with her mobility. Maya decided she wonted to pay me for her treatment so brought her mums purse over to me bless her 🤣.

3rd photo is Nifty. Nifty is an agilty dog and is doing so well in his agilty competitions.He has myotherapy to keep his muscles and joints healthy to help prevent any injuries.

4th picture is Bailey. Bailey has arthritis in hind limbs and spine. Bailey loves he treatments and gets very excited when I arrive. His mobility and posture has really improved since he has been having treatments.

5th photo is Rose this was her first myotherapy treatment.Rose is having myotherapy treatment as she has a partial pr*****ed disc. She took to treatment really well. I also used the photizo light therapy with rose

These are the gorgeous dogs that had their myotherapy treatments last week x
1st photo is Rufus
Rufus has had 3 myotherapy treatments so far. He is having treatment for soft tissue damage oh his left hind leg. He has taken well to treatment and his owners have said that the limping has stopped and his posture has improved since he has been having treatments.

2nd photo is buddy who is on the right chilling out after his myotherapy treatment with his sister grace.Buddy has elbow dysplasia so he has monthly maintenance myotherapy treatments to help keep his joints and muscles healthy and to help with any compensatory issue.

3rd photo is Alfie who is on the right having a photo with his little brother. Alfie had a fce (spinal stroke ) a few years ago. He has regular myotherapy treatment to help with his mobility with compensatory issue. He has done so well and his owner has told me the myotherapy has helped him build muscle in his hind legs and his mobility has improved alot.

4th photo is Bailey who is on the left having a photo with his family. Bailey has arthritis in his spine and hind limbs and has regular myotherapy treatments to help with his mobility, posture and compensatory issues. He owner has said that since he has been having myotherapy treatments his hind legs have got stronger and his posture is alot better. He can now hold his squat when he goes to the toilet which he has not been able to do for a long time. He is also enjoying his walks more.

5th photo is Benson. Benson has arthritis in his spine and cruciate ligament damage on right hindlimb. Benson has regular myotherapy treatments to help with his mobility, posture and compensatory issues. Benson owner said that since he has been having myotherapy treatment his mobility and posture has improved and he is also able to have a stretch which he hasn't been able to do for a long time. He is also now enjoying his walks again and wonting to be in front of his owner now instead of lagging behind them.

I love my job as I get to spend all my time with dogs and help them lead a more comfortable life.

These gorgeous boys had their treatments today.

The first 2 photos is Bailey. Bailey is 14yrs old and has been having regular treatments with me. I am so happy to hear that the myotherapay treatments has helped with Bailey's mobility and posture. I love the way he places his paw on my leg when I am treating him bless him🐾

The next 2 photos is Rossi. When I first started treating Rossi he was a little unsure of what I was doing and would get up and leave the treatment area to assess the situation before returning for some more treatment. After a few treatments I have gained his trust and now Rossi is loving his treatments and is really relaxed. Now when I arrive at his house he goes straight to his treatment area and waits for me to start which is lovely to see.🐾

Last 2 photos is Benson. Benson is 14yrs old and has been having regular myotherapy treatment. His owner told me that they have seen great improvements with Bensons mobility, posture and he is loving his walks again. Before his myotherapy treatments Benson had slowed down on his walks but now he is managing to go on longer walks and is now up front walking with the other dogs In the household which is great to hear 🐾
