Thank you again to all our members who joined us tonight for our AGM.
This year we have decided to raise money for Dogs on the Streets and tonight's raffle kick started that with an amazing £110!

Snake bites are rare but could be life-threatening and should be treated by your vet immediately ⏱️

There are three types of snakes in the UK: grass snakes, smooth snakes and adders. 🐍 The adder is the only venomous species but tends to keep to themselves and don't bite unless they are scared.

Adder bites can happen Feb-Oct but are more common between Jun-Aug. They are most commonly found in long grass, woodland, moorland, and along the coast (sand dunes/coastal paths). Avoid areas well known for adders in the summer months, or when in those areas, keep your dog on the path and on a lead. If you're unfamiliar with the area, do some research to find out if there are any adder hot spots before walking your dog ⚠️

Hi everyone!

Due to the heat I'm sorry that all of this week's classes need to be canceled.

It's just too hot for the dogs and our number one concern is their safety.

Please remember to keep lots of water and shade available for your dogs and not walk them during the day when it's hottest. The pavements heat up too and can burn your dogs paws on their pads.

Again apologies that class is canceled I hope that next week will have cooled down and our classes can carry on.

We would like to thank everyone who attended our AGM last night, it was an enjoyable evening. It was very nice to have Pam and Julie from ProDogs Direct come along to accept our cheque for £508 that we raised last year.
This year we will be raising money for Street Vets, a charity treating dogs that live on the streets with their homeless owners. Last nights raffle raised £140, amazing.
Thank you all again.
