Dog Training
We are Chippenham & District Canine Society Dog Training and we run obedience classes for dogs of all ages under the guidance of the national Kennel Club Good Citizen Award Scheme programme. Through this, we can offer courses and assessments at all approved levels; Puppy Foundation, Bronze, Silver & Gold. There is also a “Post Graduate” class that we run as a club once you have completed this course, where we work on more advanced dog handling including scent work and rally.
We are a friendly club, made up of members and an experienced group of volunteer dog trainers. We all have a passion for pets and pooches, and we meet every Wednesday evening at Langley Burrell Village Hall. No dog is too much trouble for us – small dogs, big dogs, excitable dogs, dogs who like to bark – we will try to involve you in our classes as best as we can, and try to answer any questions and resolve any queries you may be having during your journey as a pet owner.
Our classes cost just £2 per session, and range in size from around 4 to 10 dogs depending on the demand. We have our own set of equipment that can be used during our sessions, from cones to toys, tunnels to poles, and even a wooden gate!
