Finally! This is our lovely (quiet ☺️) Second boarding room we’re calling The Stable 🌻. A great safe space where two families of (same gender) piggy’s can have their doors open with private floor space, or visiting bunnies that will have access to the entire room with no barriers and,are never shut in their cages 😊🐰🐹.

This is a really interesting post from the Bristol Rabbit Rescue And Friends. I understand it’s not always a viable option☺️,but here at The Piggy Hut we do offer a lovely retirement package where piggy’s that have unfortunately found themselves lonesome can live their best life surrounded by a community of over chatty fellow piggy’s 😊.Please feel free to pm me to find out some possible future options ☺️

🌟 Animal Welfare Act (2006) 🌟

Under the Act, owners and keepers have a duty of care to their animals and must make sure they meet their needs:

“to be housed with, or apart from, other animals (if applicable)”

For rabbits and guinea pigs, companionship is hugely important, therefore it’s our duty to ensure they have this.
