We had a real no fuss Maniped 9Manicure/Pedicure) today with Jess in Preston, Lancashire.

Jess was lying on her mum's bed when we arrived, so we left her there and carried out the nail clipping, literally, in the comfort of her own bed !

Over the years, Sessions have become so much less of an event for Fluff in Wigan, Greater Manchester.

Today, Fluff didn't even leave the room after his groom. The cat flap was opened for him, as usual, but he chose to stick around instead.

Memory Lane Monday : This lovely little lady is Mo and she is almost 4 years old. She is a Persian, and she lives with her family in Liverpool, Merseyside.

Mo had developed some matting around her body which she needed help with. She had recently taken some of the area away by herself, which had begun to grow back.

By nature, Mo is quite a nervous little girl. She was apprehensive of the clippers to begin with, but soon seemed to take them in her stride. She chilled for parts of the session, when laying on her side .. but she did have moments of fidgety-ness (word ?!) when she told us that she’d rather be doing something else on a Saturday morning ! However, we don’t think she was afraid – just would rather have been doing something else instead !

Following the session, mum Jan said “Mo is much happier with her new look. She is more content and welcomes being groomed. She is also grooming herself more too. Thank you so much for your professional approach with Mo”

Well done Mo…… Such a brave girl !

It was time once again for 16 year old Amity's maintenance Session in Southport, Lancashire.

Amity is a sweet girl. She's a little cautious until she's sure of what's going on. She's well used to her Sessions, though, and manages to settle with the aid of yoghurt.

A yoghurt helped Monty concentrate on other things whilst we removed lots of old hair and a couple of lugs.

Ragdoll Dalmore's Session wasn't a day too soon this time round.

Dalmore, from Fleetwood, Lancashire is 14 years old now.

His coat was truly enormous, clumpy and matted in places. We clipped away what couldn't be worked through and combed out the rest.

Dalmore then spent a great deal of time washing - finishing off the groom.

Memory Lane Monday : This gorgeous 2 and a half year old Ragdoll is Diego, who lives in Sharston, Manchester with his brother (Mylo) and mum and dad.

Diego has a nice coat, but to make life easier for ease of maintenance, we decided to give him a clip for the Spring/Summer months to come.

Diego has had a clip before – so he knew what to expect – but he was a little fidgety on the table. He didn’t particularly like to be laid on his side … he fared much happier in a standing and/or sternal position – so we worked with him and did as much as possible these ways.

After the session, Diego was obviously impressed with himself and spent some time grooming. He then felt he had to sit and watch as we packed up all the gear.

Later, mum Lynn said “Thank you so much for trimming and grooming my ragdolls Diego and Mylo today, amazing job! Especially Diego’s lion cut he looks fab!”

It's taken a few days on our travels to gain the trust of our new French friends - but now they are lapping up the attention ! 😽 Henri and Suzie (that's what we've named them 😸) live at a neighbouring house but obviously also regard the garden of the house where we are staying, as their own territory. In fact, Henri sprayed down the side of our car this morning, whilst he was doing his patrol. Thanks Henri 🙀 🙈 😹 Suzie's video is in the first Comment. Aren't they just gorgeous ...? 😽

We met up with Ragdoll Steve today in Blackpool, Lancashire. Steve had recently developed a few clumps on his flanks but his family had managed to remove most of the affected area by the time of our visit. So, today we had a very gentle, laid back Session. The remaining clumps were teased out with the comb - which was fortunate as Steve was uneasy with the clippers. Other than that, he lay over with little persuasion as we combed his belly. You'd be forgiven for thinking he hadn't been fed for weeks when you see him attack the kitty yoghurt ...

Here's young Maine Coon Otis in Preston, Lancashire - just chilling as we finished up with his Lion Clip. Such a good boy !
