Memory Lane Monday : Remember James ? This lovely fellow lives in Swinton, Manchester and is 14 years old this month.
We last saw James during the Autumn of last year, when he was struggling to keep on top of his coat. Although James’ coat is short, it had become clumpy – particularly around the lower back and legs. Perhaps there’s a touch of arthritis, which impedes his self grooming these days.
At this visit, James’ coat wasn’t as thick – but none the less was ready for a brush out. We played some music to help James relax, as he is a very nervous boy. He intently watched the world go by from the bedroom window as we proceeded with the session, and watched with interest (amazement ?) as the old hair went into the bag.
(Sadly, James crossed over that Rainbow Bridge some time ago now. Sleep well, James xx)
