Hey guys I have some news for you all.....

🚨I've made the very difficult decision to close my dog grooming business🚨

- PLEASE DO NOT PANIC IF YOU HAVE AN APPOINTMENT BOOKED, YOUR DOG IS STILL BOOKED IN, PLEASE STILL ARRIVE FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT 🐶

I'm not going to waffle on because I already feel really emotional about it, my life is so so hectic and busy at the moment, I've started back at my old workplace as a care assistant, if you know you know it's a difficult job and hard work, my body and mind are definitely feeling the struggle after being away for 6 years😩 that being said I am glad to be back, there is no other more rewarding job out there 🙏🏼

⭐ I also have my zoo keeping course which I am desperately trying to push through ready for my practical in September at Blackpool I AM SOOOOO EXCITED 😆

I'm sad but I'm also SUPER proud of myself it's really not easy starting from scratch and building your business completely alone, I can look back and say yeah I did that😏😃🥹

- Will I ever reopen? I can't answer that yet, all I know is that I'm no octopus and having bad mental health already I don't want to put myself under anymore stress or pressure, I have my job, my course, my beautiful daughter and my two dogs ❤️

I WILL MISS EVERY SINGLE POOCH THAT I HAVE EVER GROOMED 🥹

I wish everyone the best future possible, and remember anything is possible if I can build a business up from nothing anyone can! 💪🏼 Onward I go with my journey🙌🏼🫶🏼 (the plan to not waffle on definitely didn't work😂😬😘)

⭐ SUNDAY 16TH APRIL ⭐

If your deposit is sent any later than this date, unfortunately your appointment will be cancelled so please don't send any deposits after Sunday.

It's been a busy here at GG Grooms, here a just a few of the pooches I've had the pleasure of grooming🥰🫶🏼

A warm welcome to the very beautiful 14week old puppy Oscar 🐶 he did amazing for his first puppy groom which included a bath, brush and then a face and feet trim 😊 not perfect but he was a super star 🌟

And then we have my regulars Rosie the westie 🐶 and Poppy😀

Hi everyone 👋🏼 just a quick announcement😊

- Due to many last minute cancellations I will now be taking a £10 non refundable deposit (which can be bank transfered, message for bank details) this will come off the overall total grooming price which must be paid CASH😊

Please note you will NOT be fully booked in until the deposit is paid

Deposits can be moved to a different appointment but if you cancel all together you will not receive your refund

Prices have taken a slight increase (this is mainly for curly haired coats), please understand that if your dog comes to me matted the price will not be standard, there will be additional charges. The main reason for this is because matting blunts my blades which are expensive to send off for sharpening or too buy new

Due to a switch of new jobs I now have 2 appointments available before Christmas ⛄ PLEASE BE QUICK

Unfortunately I haven't had time to bake any doggy Christmas biscuits this year 😕 I've been a little busy searching for another job which I am due to start on the 16th

🌟 I will still be grooming in the week and on weekends🤗🐶

I'm sorry I haven't done any gifts this year, I promise I will make it up to my lovely customers pooches in the new year🙏🏼

📢I will be making a few changes to my policy in the new year ready for 2023 and this will include a possible deposit upon booking AND a cancellation fee if you cancel your appointment in less than 24hr notice📢

📢 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT 📢

Guys I'm excited to tell you all that I have a new daytime/term time job😃 Before you all panic I AM STILL DOG GROOMING but my hours will now I unfortunately be part time

🌟 this means that one week I will only be working Tuesdays from 1:45..... and the next week Tuesdays/Fridays/Saturdays/Sundays 🌟

With that being said my 2022 diary is filling up extremely fast there are only around 3/4 appointments left before I break up for Christmas 📢 RETURN 10th JANUARY 🎅

I hope my wonderful customers will all support me on this new journey and respect the fact that I may not be able to book you in on the exact date you would like! I've had a few harsh messages and abit of negative vibes all because I can't fit people in for a groom the same week we're in🤦🏼‍♀️

Please respect that this is my own self made, small business, I try my absolute best to accommodate you all but I will not accept rude behaviour 😕

Happy Halloween everyone🎃 after being closed all last week I reopen TOMORROW 🎃🧡

Seeing your happy dogs tails wagging and bottoms swaying from side to side when they come to my home for their pamper is exactly the reason why I love my job🙏🏼😅

This is totally random but I have a question..... is your dog scared of fireworks? 🎇🎆

If the answer is yes please listen up. I want you to start paying firework sounds on your Alexa or Google (ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE A PUPPY) play it and don't baby talk to your dog.

We was worried about our pup Luna being scared of fireworks but every fortnight or so we'll play them really loud on our Google and now she will happily sit and not be bothered in the slightest 😃

The more you pander to a dog that's "scared" of fireworks by baby talking and cuddling the worst your dog will play up and "be scared". Harsh but very true dogs are like children give them an inch they'll take a mile😅

I've had a hard think about this and I have taken the decision to NO LONGER ACCEPT BANK TRANSFER, I know this will be a pain for some of my lovely customer but in the nicest way possible I am getting tired of chasing people for money which isn't at all fair, you wouldn't go to the salon to get your hair or nails done to then walk out and not pay for a few days🙁

I hope you all understand and please bair in mind prices are subject to change, I may give a quote over message or even in person but once your dog is on my table only then can I really give an exact price, I understand this can cause some inconvenience but it can be hard to quote a groom without having a good look in detail on the grooming table
