Its a big wide world for a little Dotty dog 🌏

This little girl is an absolute legend at 9 years old she has climbed wainwrights in her youth and only last year recovered from spinal surgery and here she is loving life.

She enjoyed a hike up our local walk Watch Hill in her Ancol Step in harness which are ideal for smaller breeds and puppies 🩷

Here at Waggy Woofers we are proud stockists of the Dry Dogs Sighthound Dog Harness.

But don't be put off by the name, Its not just for sight hounds.

We have fit these to a huge range of different breeds from Jack Russells to Labradors to Newfoundlands and they are by far our most popular harness in store.

They are perfect for dogs which are a difficult shape due to having 3 points to adjust.

They are exceptionally well made, durable, practical and affordable.

They have 3 points which means it covers further down the body and has a third strap that fits just behind the rib cage.

This harness is suitable for hiking, scrambling, running, town walking, countryside pottering, swimming and it is an anti-escape harness which means dogs find it almost imposisble to get out of.

It is the only style harness that is safe to lift and hold your dog in as the third strap keeps their bum high and stops them slipping out of it. Perfect for helping when scrambling those mountain tops.

It is also extremely helpful for senior dogs when assisting them in and out of a car..

They are fantastic for dogs who participate in sports and our managing director Maggie also has her own dry dogs harness for when we do agility in the summer.

We have upgraded Triggs to his very own Dry Dogs harness for two reasons:

(Well firstly he grew out of his little puppy harness within a week.. we think he is part collie part horse)

1. It helps me lift him into the car. Hes a big heavy boy already and this harness keeps him secure when lifting and takes the pressure off of my shoulders..

2. He cant wriggle out of it. He learnt pretty quickly how to get out of his first puppy harness so we put a stop to that lol

Sweet little Toby has been to see us to get himself a new winter waterproof coat.
We have known Toby since he was a little pupster and sadly he lost his life long friend only recently but it is great to see him out and about enjoying himself and now he can do that all toasty warm and dry 🧡

NATURAL TREATS WITH FUR!

Its easy to be put off buying such treats with the added extra of the fluffy bits but do you know what the benefits of feeding such treats are?

Alot of our lovely customers have been popping in and asking how our newest addition has settled and asking for an update.

So far he has settled incredibly well. He has really started to come out of his shell and we have found that he loves his KONG full of pate, loves having his photo being taken, loves stealing my phone, biting bums and sniffing armpits (each to their own lol)

But most importantly him and Maggie have really connected.

He will be in the shop from next thursday 🤎

A fairly new natural treat to Waggy Woofers is our Ram Horns.

An air dried natural treat for dogs, ram horns are a durable chew which is long lasting and wears down gradually.

As some of you will know we unfortunetely had to return the first puppy we bought home in the new year. We have been told he has since been rehomed somewhere else which we were pleased to hear.
However this has led us to this little cutie and we couldn't be happier with him.
Maggie has also taken to him very well.
It feels like he was meant to be with us 🩷 we are keeping the name Triggs 🐾
He is 12 weeks old and so will be in the shop any day now for you all to meet..

So we all know the weather isn't that great today, you dont need to be told that but what do you do if your faced with a dog that isn't keen to go out for their walk??
