Dear all,
I have been made aware of a few cases of Kennel Cough this week from current clients and through colleagues.
If your dog is coughing or showing any signs of being unwell or “out of character,” please contact your vet and let them know your concerns so your dog can be checked over.
To protect all dogs in my care, Dear Dogs will not interact with any dog suspected or confirmed to have Kennel Cough for 14 days.
Safety is my number one priority.
As I predominantly train puppies—who are especially vulnerable—as well as elderly dogs, it is vital that we minimise risks wherever possible.
Please note the following policies:
• Dear Dogs reserves the right to cancel and refund sessions if Kennel Cough is suspected or confirmed.
• A dog suspected or diagnosed with Kennel Cough must not attend sessions for 14 days.
• After the 14-day period, dogs may only return once all symptoms have fully cleared.
• Dear Dogs will refuse admission to classes, play sessions, or workshops if I suspect a dog may have Kennel Cough.
These measures are in place to protect your dogs and my own.
Kind regards,
Steph
