Ralphie and I have been learning some new skills over the last week.

We’ve been working hard on obedience, steadiness, and eye contact as part of his PETdog gundog training.

It’s lovely to see how quick he learns and how much he enjoys it.

It’s great to pass this training on to new pups before they go on to do their official gundog training.

He’s just had his first training session.

Jerry is reactive when he sees other dogs. Jerry just wants to play.

Jerry’s owner now knows how to disengage Jerry from a situation that will help reduce his barking and calm him down.

We have worked on Jerry’s impulse control to further help with these situations.

Meet Blue!
This gorgeous pup had her very first training session today.

She’s starting her journey to become a skilled gun dog.

So we’ve been working on the basics, eye contact and impulse control.
These foundations are so important for her future training.

Little Gamay has now completed her training package, and I’m delighted with the progress she’s made in just four sessions.

In our final session, we worked on developing her loose lead walking skills and further strengthening her impulse control.

She has already begun the Puppy Follow-On Course, and I look forward to seeing her continued development.
