Meet Gus!

He’s just had his first training session.

Gus is a frustrated pup. He has all this energy built up and is struggling to release it.

Today we have started training Gus to use his mind. Teaching Gus to come when called and goodbye when leaving him.

When Gus truly gets the hang of this, he can start having freedom off the lead knowing he will return when called.

A spaniel needs just as much mental stimulation as physical.

Gus’s owners have already put this in motion over the course of this week, and already noticed a positive change.

We have just been to a new pet store in Elmstead Market. It’s a new family run business and the staff were lovely. It has everything you can think of from fish supplies to horse supplies. Ralph and Henry were very impressed and chose a new toy each. Please go and see them. It’s great to support a new local business.
