Set in beautiful surroundings, Country Canines offers home from home 🏡 boarding and day care (for small to medium sized dogs) in Earls Colne.

We are licensed and insured and Kate (a qualified vet nurse) and her husband Richard try to ensure your four legged friend lives their best life while away from you and your home. 🏡

A typical day at Country Canines for our boarders begins with wee wees followed by breakfast! 🐶
Our day care doggies 🐕 arrive between 8.00 and 9.00am and then the fun begins!
Waiting in anticipation for the gate to be opened the dogs bound into pooches paddock (a fully enclosed and secure field) where they can run, sniff and play til their hearts content!
The dogs have their first walk by exiting the paddock straight onto our private farmland. (No leads are necessary if your dog has good recall and this is always discussed at our initial meet and greet).
They will enjoy the freedom, space and scents of the countryside and can have a swim if they choose! - 🐇🦊💩🦡🦌🦆🐑🐄🐁🦉🐴🌾🌳🌧️☀️💦
More paddock and garden play follow 🏀🎾⚽️🧸 and by late morning the dogs are ready for a rest! 💤
This is repeated after lunch and again before our day care guests return home (usually between 5.00 and 6.00pm).
Our boarders are then more than ready for their dinner 🍽️, cuddles on the sofa, 🛋️ 📺 last wees about 10.00pm then bed! 💤🛌 🐶😴🥰……….

Set in acres of beautiful countryside we encourage your dog to run, play, sniff and do what dogs are supposed to do! Our fully enclosed garden and paddock extends to one and a half acres and is a playground for those who cannot be walked off lead 🐕🐾.

Spring has finally sprung 👏🌷🌳☀️and the Easter break has been buzzing with our boarders 🥰(and day care regulars 😍) enjoying their holidays and home 🏡 comforts! It has been lovely watching the dogs 🐕 form close bonds as they spend time together 🐶🐾

🎁🎂🎈🥳🎉🐶 Country Canines celebrates its 1st birthday!! 🐶🎉🥳🎈 🎂 🎁

Described as a ‘pooches paradise’ Vet Nurse Kate and her husband Richard offers (licenced and insured) home from home boarding and day care in Earls Colne for small to medium sized dogs.

The year has flown by with March being spent meeting and greeting lovely dogs and their owners, our first boarder’s (Buddy and Nala) arrived on 30th March.

Since then we have cared for over 125 dogs! 🐕 🐕🐕 🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕

Many attend weekly for day care and we have got to know each of their little characters very well 🥰🐶🥰
Some of our boarders have been with us several times on their holidays 🏝️☀️ 💦 and we have become a second home for a few! 🏡 🐶🐾

It is always lovely to see the wagging tails of our guests as they approach - happy to be here and desperate to meet their doggy friends and play….………….

Our topsy-turvy seasons have turned Spring 🌳into Autumn 🍂 and Autumn to Summer☀️ 🥵!
Our boarders have kept cool this week with their early morning swims 💦and late evening walks then snoozing on our stone kitchen floor with a lovely breeze blowing through the doors - it’s a dogs life!

Little Leia has settled in very well joining our daycare regulars Dolly, Minty, Raffy, April, Minnie May, Bill, Bella and Biscuit.

The lovely Loki, Lola, Luna, Cookie, Dotty, Harry, Juno, Ruby and Rusty have been on their holidays and returned home.

We still have Minxy and Poppy who together are quite mischievous and dear little golden oldies Maisie (recently diagnosed with diabetes but doing very well on her medication 🩷) and ‘sisters’ Gucci and Scampi. Scampi refused to come on any dog walks during the first part of her stay - now she will not be left behind 🥰🥰🥰.……..

It’s been International Dog Day today and here at Country Canines we’ve had our share of world breeds 🐶 including a beautiful Hungarian Viszla, a German Shorthaired Pointer, Chihuahua’s that originate from Mexico, Labrador’s (Canada)
Miniature Schnauzers, Dachshunds (or ‘badger dogs’) and Poodles all originating from Germany. We mustn’t forget the UK’s wonderful Spaniels and Terriers and of course all the crosses in between! 🐶🐶🐶

Joining Dolly, Minty, Raffy, April, Bill, Minnie, Bella, Scampi and Gucci for day care have been Leia, Luna and Arnie.🏡☀️💦🐾

Flora, Dotty, Arlo, Nellie, Indy, Poppy, Bert and Luna joined Loki, Dexter, Marlee and Coco for their holidays! ☀️💦🌳🍹

Piper, Chilli, Bella, Meeko and Bunty all enjoyed their overnight trial and will be back soon…….
