⚠️ GRASS SEED SEASON⚠️
This time of year it is very common to see cases of pets having grass seed related injuries.
🌱How to prevent grass seeds:
- When returning from walks check all four paws and ears for them. Especially in breeds with longer coats.
- Keep long coats well maintained.
- If possible avoid walking through long grassy areas.
- Snoods are available (or homemade pair of tights) to hold long hairy ears down when walking
🌱Sign of grass seeds:
- Shaking head and scratching at ears
- Swellings between toes
- Licking profusely at paws
- Limping
🌱Grass seeds can also be a problems in felines who enjoy exploring in long grass so check them over too🐱
