Can you spot the heartbeat? We like to check we have multiple pups, that they are active or have good โค๏ธ beats depending on stage and mum is all well.
We scanned Zoe the Frenchie and they were having a good old jump about!
Well it's pretty grotty getting a little bit of anything stuck between your teeth. We knew there was something going on with this chap as soon as he walked in the room with the worst case of halitosis we've come across in a long time. He'd been chewing at himself and got himself a full-on basket weave of hair wrapped around his bottom teeth, causing a nasty gum infection. With a severe heart murmur we were very reluctant to sedate but he was a little bit of a crocodile so we had to play it safe with a muzzle. It took a bit of patience but with Amy sharp forceps work and Dani's reassurance, we got a big chunk of fur out of that very smelly mouth. Instant relief!
Imagine having these little feet and chewy mouths running round in your ears . Eurgh!
Our Complete Care health plan covers against earmites, a common infester of kittens and puppies as well as older pets. Unlike over the counter products, our prescription products make sure these little blighters are knocked out rapidly, giving rapid relief from that intense itch! S

Dogs should fit into your life, you shouldn't have to fit into theirs.
When first acquiring a puppy, researching the breed should be your first priority. As each dog was bred for a special job and to a dog not being able to use their skills is boring to them.
Training and training classes should be the next priority as this socialises them but also teaches you to teach your dog basic commands and forms a bond with your canine pal.
Basic commands should coverโฆ.
Sit, stay, down, walking to heel on a lead and off, time out on bed and recall. Dogs should only be let off the lead in a public place if recall is good, as if not a good recall it can be classed as not having control.
Training should always be reward based either with treats or clicker and treats.
It's nice when looking for a trainer that they have a good repore with the dog and is friendly. Also try to watch a class before signing up.
Dogs thrive better with boundaries and a job tailored to their breed. So try to use that when finding classes. Some people engage in fly ball, agility and obedience as most dogs will enjoy these activities.
Socialisation plays a key role in having a well rounded dog. With puppies this starts from birth as they are born with taste, be able to drink their milk, smell, follow the smell of their mother so they can feed and touch as their mother licks and cleans them.
Their hearing is twice that of ours and their vision is better at a distance than what's right in front of them which they see things in rudimentary colours rather than grey. Both these senses are acquired a few weeks after birth. So it is important that your puppy has good experiences as their minds grows and develops. They develop and learn from their mother and so must stay with them until at least 8 weeks of age. Puppies rehomed sooner than this or from puppy farms where they haven't had good experiences or learnt from mum can have a lasting effect.
After vaccination it is very important that your pupp
