Thanks for posing with our dog of the month treats Jack! 😍

🐶🏆 September Dog of the Month is Jack, who visits us with owner Shane.

Jack who is well adjusted to pub life, celebrated his 10th birthday this week. The big 7-0!

We are big animal lovers here at The Throstles Nest and to share this love, we bestow the title of Dog of the Month on one lucky pooch.

Each month, we pick a Dog of the Month to receive a treat on us - Not just that, but we also send one to a rescue dog at RSPCA Macclesfield, on their behalf.

We decided to affiliate with RSPCA Macclesfield as they are entirely run by volunteers and we have witnessed their hard work and dedication first hand.

The RSPCA Macclesfield dog being treated this month is Storm.

Storm had been in emergency private boarding for almost 3 months waiting for a rehoming branch to take her in, so RSPCA Macclesfield did just that.

🐶🏆 August's Dog of the Month is Daisy, who visits us with owner James.

Daisy, who recently celebrated her first birthday, was very nervous when she first came into The Throstles Nest. Over time, she has grown in confidence and it has been a joy to witness.

We are big animal lovers here at The Throstles Nest and to share this love, we bestow the title of Dog of the Month on one lucky pooch.

Each month, we pick a Dog of the Month to receive a treat on us - Not just that, but we also send one to a rescue dog at RSPCA Macclesfield, on their behalf.

We decided to affiliate with RSPCA Macclesfield as they are entirely run by volunteers and we have witnessed their hard work and dedication first hand.

The RSPCA Macclesfield dog being treated this month is Narla.

One of Narla carers wrote this about her:

Blubber. And meat. Meat and blubber. Narla consists mostly of these two elements, like a baby hippo, a manatee or a blundering seal. But though it’s her heft which first grabs your attention – and which first draws your eye – it’s something else entirely which keeps it there. Note that I said that she was only mostly meat and blubber, that’s because the remaining part comprises her greatest quality of all: goodness. She has a heart of pure, undimmed gold and a nature to match. Her size catches your eye but it’s her heart which captures yours.

🐶🏆 May's Dog of the Month is Daisy, who visits us with owners Andy and Stuart.

Daisy’s is a diminutive diva for sure, however, despite being small in stature, she certainly gets a lot of attention.

In fact, she is somewhat of a celebrity. With over 35,000 Instagram followers Daisy is adored both by locals and all across the world!

The RSPCA Macclesfield dog being treated this month is Eve.

This poor dog has had a rough start. She came from an awful farm.

She spent over 550 days in kennels, prior to coming into RSPCA care.

Eve is a truly tremendous lady. She is friendly and affectionate, unwaveringly inquisitive, sociable with both man and dog.

🐶🏆April's Dog of the Month is Mable, who visits us with owners Andy and Kate.

Mable won 'Waggiest Tail' at last year's RSPCA Dog Show and will be a strong contender to retain her title on Monday 8th May.

Mable is the daughter of a working Cocker called Timmy, who is a gun dog at Chatsworth House and is one of 9 pups.

With enough energy to power a small city, it is no surprise that Mable enjoys the great outdoors. She loves swimming and on one visit to Snowdon, Andy says she must have seen the summit at least three times over.

The RSPCA Macclesfield dog being treated this month is Drummer.

Perhaps the most remarkable thing about Drummer is how unremarkable he is.

Given all that he has been through, his normality is almost miraculously abnormal.

He greets people with both eagerness and politeness; he is fussy and affectionate, he is playful and silly; he loves other dogs and seems gently curious towards other animals too. He is a pleasure, an entirely conventional one.

Isn't Albie the cutest! And so patient!

It took every bit of willpower not eat all of these delicious treatos from whilst mum took this photo 🦴

I can be a bit of a fuss pot when it comes to treats but these are so tasty I go crazy every time mum gets them out of the cupboard, I’d highly recommend and we’ll definitely be ordering again
