It's been a quick minute since I posted anything, life has just been so busy, but here's an update on two of these hatchlings that joined me earlier this year.

These two seem to always be up to no good together and the third is a little more reserved and shy. Although they all nearly took my hand off when feeding them this morning.

Picked up three new blue tree monitors.
Adding to the collection in hopes of growing them on and eventually finding a mate for my existing one.
it's difficult to s*x at such young ages, but fingers crossed I end up with two pairs 🤞

The variations in their patterns if cool, they all look so different, yet so similar 😎

It's been a little while since I posted an update. They're frowing quickly, and will come out at feeding time but is still very much scared of me 😔 we'll get there eventually I'm sure.

Hopefully have some friends joining the reptile room later this month

In all of my Blue tree monitor enclosures I have a species of prayer plant, specifically Maranta leuconeura 'Kerchoveana' (also known as Maranta Green) and they do extremely well. They grow well, leaves that get damaged by the inhabitants don't hang around for long, and are replaced with new leaves quickly.
This week has been very interesting as one of the plants has even flowered, which I'm told is pretty rare! So far it's only this one flower but it's cool all the same.
I also have super dwarf banana trees in one of the enclosures maybe one day I'll get fruits from them.
