Good morning friends and followers 😊

We just wanted to pop on to say we're really grateful for all your continued support with our business and keeping us busy with your four-legged friends.

This is a polite reminder regarding payments for the work carried out on your dog(s).

Our business terms are CASH or BANK TRANSFER on THE DAY OF WORK BEING COMPLETED for your dog.

We are continuing to have to chase for missing payments, days and weeks afterwards which is not acceptable.

Chasing up these payments, we find very embarrassing and as our business is our only form of income it has a knock on effect on our ability to pay our bills etc.

Can we please request that all bank transfer payments are to be made on collection of your dog(s) prior to them coming to us for grooming and not afterwards. Cash is fine to be passed onto us before or after the dogs groom but at no point should we be waiting for payment unless we have had a discussion beforehand.

We thank you once again for your continued custom and support.

So today, Rob and I carried out our CPD to support the welfare of your Pupstars 🌟 whilst in our care.

Refresher training for myself and new training completed for Rob covering bandaging skills, CPR, supporting dogs in shock and caring for those that are having a seizure were amongst many other skills we have learnt today, all skills that we know will continue to give you peace of mind that we care for your dog just as much as you do. 🐶❤️

We purchased a new first aid kit complete in a snazzy bum bag to compliment our already extensive kit held, just in case. 🏥🚑
This will also come in handy for Rob as he begins pounding the pavements over the coming months with our new offering of Man's Best Friend - Dog Walking. 🐕‍🦺🚶

For those of you looking for a dog walker please do get in touch.
Services offered, include, but not limited to:
Solo walks
Group walks
Drop-ins
Puppy visits
Feeding, medication administered

Fully insured, First Aid trained and DBS checked for your added peace of mind.

Morning, everybody!

The temperatures continue to plummet, and we are set for a very icy, cold snap.

We will endeavour to continue working throughout, but please note it may take us a bit longer to get to you, we may need to be a bit more flexible with our appointment times.
We will keep you updated as we go through the day.

For those of you dropping off, drive carefully. Rob has been on the yard all morning with the grit to help melt the ice, but please tread carefully.

Happy New Year everybody! 🎆🥂
And just like that, 2 weeks have flown by, and we are back ready to welcome each and every one of your pupstars. 🌟

We hope you had a fabulous Christmas and New Year, it's been an interesting few days with the snow, rain and ice. Keep safe out there! 🌨❄️☃️

As most of you know Rob, my partner joined me last year and has taken over the collection and drop off of your pupstars. 🧑‍🤝‍🧑💙
We cannot thank you enough for all your support over 2024 and we look forward to starting 2025 with the same energy and some.
Don't forget over the coming weeks we will be starting up dog walking/home visits for those of you that need that extra bit of support. Rob will be the main contact of this moving forward but you can show your interest via a DM to the page.🐶

In relation to contacting us, we would prefer all contact moving forward to come via the FB page as the communication can be a lot quicker due to Rob having access however for some of you texting is your preferred method and we will endeavour to return your messages as soon as possible.

** New services incoming **

So for a while we have been playing with the idea of offering a regular dog walking service/home visit service to break up your pupstars day whilst you have to work.
All of which can be tailored to your individual dogs needs.

Services can include but not limited to:
2hr group/pack walks, max 4 dogs
1hr group play sessions, max 5 dogs
1hr individual walks
30 minute drop in sessions.

First and foremost we realise that this is an already very saturated market so therefore we are asking our loyal customers for your thoughts on whether such a service would be of use to anybody before we go ahead.

Dear all.

Thank you for being a loyal customer and putting your valuable trust in to our business at Man's Best Friend for all these years.

Although we have tried our best to keep our prices low, our operating costs have increased significantly due to the increasing pressures we find ourselves in with the cost of living crisis.
So we can continue to offer the best service to you and your pupstar, careful consideration has been made to our clients and as a result we have made the tough decision to increase our prices of which a new personalised quote will be shared with you over the coming weeks via letter or text.

The change of price will be effective from 1st June 2024.

As always we are striving to evolve and improve our services. The price increase will help us to introduce new features and products and serve you better.

So our Ripley (right) got to meet her brother today and I had the pleasure of grooming him 😍 just to think we very nearly took him home ourselves before we found out he was male 🫢
