Apologies to everyone who has contacted me about kittens for the radio silence but Covid has really knocked me for six. In the midst of being ill, Cookies litter sired by Yogi has arrived. We have 5 kittens - more details to follow - 4 will be available.

Huge congratulations to Mathilde and Boucles Confetti who won the Selkirk Rex Breeding Speciale in France on 28th September out of 36 Selkirks competing 😍

Confetti is the litter sibling to IW BW Ch Boucles Peony who was Reserve Supreme Kitten 2023 in GCCF and 21st Best International Kitten with TICA in 2023/2024.

I am so proud of you both 😘

Sad news today - Boucles Myrtille our homozygous blue tabby girl had her one little boy kitten by c-section but sadly he did not make it.

Lovely Myrtille will now recover and be speyed once she is back to full health. Not all girls are meant to be mums and her welfare is our top priority.

We have one more litter due in 2024 from Boucles Madame Coquette mid October and news will follow in due course.

Meanwhile Beans babies are 12 days old and doing great - more photos will follow when we can - she is still obsessed with them living under my bed!!

What an amazing day we had on Saturday at The Cat Show Live and thank you to everyone who came to meet our Selkirks, British Longhair and Princess Totty the Abyssinian.

It was wonderful talking to you all ❤️

I know people are waiting on kitten news - our first babies for the Autumn are here. A sneak preview is below of the babies from Wavemakers Cilantro Sunrise and RW Boucles Jelly Bean. I will post on here once they are safely weaned and we are able to consider what type of home might be suitable. Expect further news around mid October.

We still await babies over the next 3-4 weeks from Boucles Myrtille (father is Boucles Monsieur Reve) and Boucles Madame Coquette (father is our famous big brown bear 🐻 Yogi) and we will bring news as they safely arrive.

All set up and ready for the tomorrow at the NEC!

Come and say hi and meet our wonderful curly Selkirk Rex and their pals Miu Miu the British Longhair and Totty the Abyssinian.

We will also be selling handmade sturdi and handbag charms with 10% of the proceeds going to local charity Coventry Cat Group.

Hopefully we will have some kitten news in a few weeks as two of our girls are currently being entertained although Jelly Bean doesn't seem that keen on her beau 🙈

In the meantime we will have three adults available for homes in August once they have recovered from spey ops and vaccinations are up to date. A nominal rehoming fee will apply to ensure the right home.

There are photos of all on this page and I am currently getting new ones taken

Bedazzlecats Izzydora - 7 years - silver shaded torbie homozygous Selkirk Rex female. Dora is very strong-willed (she is a tortie!) But also incredibly affectionate with people and playful. She can be fiesty with other female cats although is fine with laidback males.

Rozpaws Yazmin of Boucles - blue tortie BLH aged 3 years. Gorgeous Yaz was intended for our BLH breeding but sadly despite mating she never fell pregnant. She is a really affectionate girl who is fine with other cats - I would ideally like her to go as a pair with Snickers below.

Boucles Snickerdoodle - tortie golden shaded homozygous female Selkirk Rex Longhair aged 3 years. Snickers was a wonderful mum but struggled badly during the birthing of her one and only litter needing am emergency c section from which she is fully recovered and we decided not to put her through that again. She is very playful and likes to be around humans but can be a little shy until she knows you. She and Yaz get on very well and ideally will go as a pair.

I attended my first GCCF show since the Supreme in October 2023 at the weekend and we couldn't have had a better day. I was joined by Lisa Aggett and Diana Saunderson with their Boucles babies and it's fair to say the cats rocked it.

Lisa showed Trevor aka Boucles Crepe a l'Orange who gained his 5th Imperial GPC and therefore can now be known as GCCF Imp Gr Pr & TICA RW SGCA Boucles Crepe a l'Orange. Trevor gained his GCCF in straight shows with competition - what a fabulous achievement!

Diana showed Yuki aka Boucles Monsieur Neige who gained his 3rd Premier certificate and therefore can be known as GCCF Gr Ch & Pr, LOOF Int Gr Ch & TICA LA BW SGC Boucles Monsieur Neige. Also joining him was his neice and Trevors half sister Boucles Madame Fabuleuse aka River who at 10 months gained her first PC and won Best of Breed over the boys. She is such a sweetheart and now really showing her potential 🤩

And finally I showed my main man Yogi aka Boucles Monsieur Incroyable. Yogi had a dream day firstly winning the Olympian class against some high quality males. He then was awarded Best of Breed and 1st in his side class. It didn't stop there though as he was awarded Best Adult in Section and then Overall Best in Section 3 and went to the post pens for Overall Best in Show judging.

I was thrilled when he was awarded Best in Show exhibit by judge Mark Pearman 🥰 this award gave him another Olympian certificate which makes him up to Silver Olympian now - just 5 more certificates to go.

A dream day spent with great friends 💕 thanks to everyone for your support and friendship ❤️

Our breeding plans for later in the year are as follows:

Wavemakers Cilantro Sunrise x RW Boucles Jelly Bean - black, blue, red or cream males, black tortie, blue tortie, red or cream females. Possibility of choc/lilac and colourpoint. All kittens will be curly.

OB Imp Gr Ch, Int Gr Ch & LA BW SGC Boucles Monsieur Incroyable x Boucles Madame Coquette - tabbies, solids, torbies and torties in black or blue, also red or cream males. This mating has also produced apricot and golden previously.

Boucles Monsieur Reve x Boucles Myrtille - black or blue solids, tabbies, shadeds (with or without golden) - all with or without white. Chocolate/lilac and colourpoint also a possibility. All kittens will be curly.

We welcomed our first babies of 2024 on 4th April. It's been a challenging 5 weeks as one little man required round the clock handfeeding but the babies are all now weaned
