Enjoy the blue skies but please take care on slippery pavements this week. Older dogs may only need a short walk or to be let out in the garden. Use tepid water to wash any salty residue off your dogs paws from road gritting as this is really bad if it's ingested.

I am lucky enough to have a huge mixed flock of songbirds on our feeders today. Blue t**s, great t**s, long tailed t**s and a nuthatch. A beautiful male blackbird and some robins are hoovering up after them. It's going to be cold this week so if you can feed the birds I'm sure they'll be grateful :)
